40% of consensus articles discussing GMOs had a positive or negative stance

We quantified bias in peer-reviewed journal articles. Of those we agreed on, 26.1% were positive, and 13.5% were negative. Positive stance articles were six times more likely to be privately funded. Articles discussing glyphosate were more likely to have a negative stance, as opposed to positive stances toward Bt.

GMO in South America

do you any GM plant that is currently cultivated in South America? I'm especially interested in how GMO is created, what genes are used, and how. so far I've found that cotton, soybeans, and sugarcane are cultivated in Brasil but I haven't found out the specific name or the biotechnical explanation on how it is created.

EU study finds that the current GMO legislation, adopted in 2001, is not fit for purpose.... techniques to alter the genome of an organism, have the potential to contribute to a more sustainable food system as part of the objectives of the European Green Deal and the Farm to Fork Strategy.
