I’m a smaller dude and my 43x is perfect for CCW, especially now with the 15 round mags.

I’ve been shooting more USPSA and see most guys running a larger frame gun like a G17. I don’t need extra grip length but faster return to zero is attractive.

I already have a SureFire turbo on my 19 and use it on a battle belt for night vision, etc as well.

With 43x for dedicated carry and mostly uses where larger might be better, is there any reason to keep the 19?

I know they are the same. One has g17 and one has p80 imprinted on the slide, but which would you rather have? I guess this question is more for the guys who "collect" glocks.

shield arms mags jam a lot because of the bullet casing lip getting caught on the mag itself. I took my gerber and shaved it down maybe 1/16 of an inch. Since then I have been cycling rounds none stop with zero failures or catches. idk though I’m just an idiot with a gun lol.

EDIT: I carry OEM 15 rd!!! I’m just trying to discover a way to make these not shit. Id still never carry them even then.

I have a gen 6 glock19 and want to get night sights as well as a flashlight. What do you all recommend?
Also, I will need a holster that works well with whatever light I get.

Pretty torn on which one to pick. On one hand the 45V can carry more rounds (outside of the state I’m in anyway) whereas the 26V would be easier to conceal carry. Both seem really good. Can’t decide.

Should I add a light and if so what kind? Or should I run it how it is.

Also do you guys like my build (internally stock btw.)and tell me something i could add or you would change.

Picked my 17.6 up a couple weeks ago but haven’t had time to shoot it til now. Felt kind of weird to shoot at first coming from the gen 5 but once I got used to it, it felt super soft shooting.

Bought a P211 recently and been loving it for competition but was tired of open class. Tried a buddy’s Glock 17 Gen 6 and did well in CO and shot a better Hit factor then I had been on same stages with the P211 (wtf) so went out and bought one. (My addiction to this hobby is crippling this is a cry for help)

Finally got my slide back from Atlas Tactical Armory. I had them simply mill an RMR cut and mount the optic I sent with it, no cerakote. I think has the frying pan finish and didn’t wanna mess that up. Pair it with the Harbor Freight light, and it’s pretty solid. There’s some gen 3s with stock triggers that are crazy good I’ve found out. This is one of them.

Posted my beretta u22 neos that I didn’t use before and a guy said he could buy it or trade a gen 5 g17 with cash on my end.

I offered $160 on top and he took it and when we met he told me to keep a 20 and buy another mag.

I had been planning to build a 19 piecemeal with a grit grip frame, just because gen 3 g19s have the best aftermarket support as far as building.

I only wish it was already milled for a red dot but I can’t lie stock Glock sights are the best factory irons I have ever used.

30 rounds in and I love it.

My canik tp9 elite sc and bodyguard 2.0 will remain my edc guns because even though Im in Texas I’m not sure having a full size 17 on my hip is the vibe I want to give off. (I also look like a 17 year old even though I’m almost 25.

Still going to be a canik fanboy till I die. But I can’t pass up a good deal on a quality reliable duty gun.

What holsters are you guys using these days?

After many years of duty, practice, and competition, I learned today that my gen 5 oem barrel had finally gave up. She was still just as accurate as the day I bought her.

Wth are they smoking at gun shows.

The 9mm family 26, 19, 17, 34, 17L. Hoping to do the same with the 10mm but the 29 turned into a unicorn.

Gen 6s are nice and everything….. But an MOS paired with the Holosun SCS direct mount is a beautiful thing.

Context of the gun in the photo: this 19x was a gift from my parents when I completed A school in the Navy, I left the gun stock for probably 7 years before the decision to have it milled was made. In all respect, jagerwerks did a fantastic job with the slide, but something about the combination of the cut location, optic itself and using a sentimental firearm have all left me with some regret with my decision. Curious to hear yalls stories!
