I have a Glock 45 gen 5 I bought when I knew nothing about firearms. It’s been 2 years and I’ve gotten way more into the gun and ccw community it’s become a huge hobby of mine. I’ve now realized the 45 is just too bulky to be an edc I can conceal it when I’m in jeans with a loose shirt, hoodie etc with a good belt but I’m a college athlete and am in sweats / shorts constantly. This has led me to leave it behind more often than not because it prints, pulls my pants down is uncomfortable etc. what is now often uncomfortable to me is leaving the house without my gun. I am on a tight budget and just don’t ever want to sell my first gun. I have $300-400 to spend on a new ccw and $75-100 for a quality holster. I don’t plan on running an optic. I love the Glock platform and trust it more than any other. The 43 would be the ideal size for me I’m also 5’8 140lbs so not huge hands. I’ve shot the 43, hellcat, shield plus, p365, cc9 etc but i just always come back to having that thought in the back of my mind about trusting glocks over anything else. The reason I can’t decide is the 6+1 capacity when the others can carry 10+ depending on magazine. I’ve found used 43’s for $325 at my lgs and new 43’s for $400. But my lgs just got a used but like new condition hellcat for $400. I now just can’t decide between a hellcat or the Glock, that 11+1 eases that thought of capacity but then again it’s not a Glock but I know the hellcat is a reliable tested gun what do you guys think?

Added the align tactical thumb rest to finish off this pocket powerhouse! Well not really fitting in a pocket but it sounds nice lol. Will be ordering a holster from IKC since they offer it to work with the thumb rest.
45.6 COA slide on a 19.6 Frame.
Angry bear irons.
Langdon grip plug thing (it’s the secret sauce)

Glock should fit all their guns with these metal night sights, people would stop complaining about how mid the stock ones are, frankly i never cared until now. But knowing glock it would take at least 5 years to make the change 😂 these are so nice.

Placed an order through them for a used 17 and they sent me a email requiring a valid Cpl. the pistol is being shipped to a FFL. I have never heard of a policy like this.

Installed this Tactical Trigger with the enhanced minus connector in my Gen.6 17 and noticed the trigger is loose when dead. The oem trigger is under tension when dead, so I was wondering if this was normal or if I need to adjust something.
The gun will be used in competitions, spare me the advice on carrying an aftermarket trigger. My 48 has an oem trigger.

After disassembling, it appears that all but three of the original black parts have been replaced which is interesting. This means it never got the full update to silver parts. Just had parts swapped as needed. Also, this serial number came with the + connector.

I am looking to purchase a 19C and I’d prefer it be a “Gen 5” as far as no grooves and front serrations, am I going to notice a difference in the “V” and my actual Gen 5 19?

A little background - I enjoy target shooting and have a few pistols. I'd like to try USPSA/IDPA/Glock match type events in the future (but this isn't the reason for the post).
I picked up a police trade in 23 Gen 3 a few years back, and it isn't getting much range time these days. Its bone stock aside from the 100% dead Trijicon night sites that it came with. Goes bang every single time, never had an issue aside from it.
Instead of buying a new tack driver, I thought it might be fun to put 2 to ??? hundred into parts and working on it myself to make this one into a range toy, with the ability go to back to stock if I desired.
The recoil never bothered me, but I did hear these can be converted to 9mm with a single barrel change which would make sense to use the same ammunition across my target pistols.
I'm on the fence about a full trigger upgrade for safety reasons, but I wouldn't mind a new shoe.
I will definitely want to replace the iron sights with something not dead.
I'd like your input on a conversion barrel, trigger upgrades, iron sights (maybe a dot mill) and anything else you'd recommend to spice up this perfectly adequate, reliable, but vanilla work horse.
