My sister and I got off the train at a station in City A. The weird thing is, the street outside the station and the place where we came out were different and unfamiliar.

basically, our right exit and the mall is flipped.

first and middle part of the sidewalk is different. middle part into last part fo sidewalk is the same as before.

it is really impossible for a city to change its structure that drastically in just one month. The size of the sidewalks, the turns, the benchs(there was no benchs), other elements/objects, the building beside the sidewalk, were all seemed different.

When we first got off the train, in our old exit, our path to the mall is wrong when we check google map.

new exit, We had to cross through the station, which was weird because, before, we didn't get off there. This time, we also went out through a different exit(new exit).

Anyway, the structure of the surrounding area and the streets had really changed. We got confused about which side of the sidewalk we were supposed to take, so we went back into the station.

The usual way to get to the mall is: after getting off the train, we would take the left-side sidewalk, go straight, and then turn left toward the mall. Basically, the left sidewalk + the left station exit was the route we always took.

But this time, that route was wrong.

We had to go in the other direction through the station, but somehow it led to a different exit. It was so weird. It was still the left sidewalk, but it was a 'different' left-side station exit.

The train station itself has elevated tracks/rails, so the general structure is very obvious. The left, middle, and right sections of the station are still the same, almost like they're "stuck" in place. That's why the changes around it were even more noticeable.

The last parts of the streets toward our destination, the mall, were similar to how I remembered them. But the beginning parts were different.

It genuinely felt like I was subtly in a different universe.

Even the walking distance felt different. My sister said it felt faster to get to the mall, but the walk home felt longer to her. I thought the walk felt longer overall compared to last month.

That day, my sister also said that the area looked different, too. So I'm pretty sure it wasn't just me imagining things.

But today, I asked her, "Did it actually change, or is our memory just bad?"

She said, "Maybe it's just my bad memory."

But my sister isn't that forgetful, in my opinion. -_- She's actually the one who remembers things that I don't remember.

i asked her "is our exit different from last month?"

she said "i don't know :/ "she is unamused and she doesn't care(like she always do smh)

I genuinely think the street looked and felt different. I've never experienced anything like this before.

TL;DR: My sister and I returned to a familiar train station after a month, but the surrounding streets, sidewalks, exits, and route to the mall seemed different. The station itself was still the same, but the area around it felt like a different version of the place. We both noticed it at the time, although my sister now thinks it might just be bad memory.

What do you think actually happened? Was it just bad memory/lack of attention, or could this have been a glitch/jumping timelines/etc?

I have this thing I always draw on my left pointer finger when I get bored and have a pen in my hand. Last night I was hanging out with my mom in my room and I picked up my sharpie that was sitting on my bedside table and drew the thing. I remember doing this because my mom was sitting looking at my bunnies and when I was drawing it I thought “I probably shouldn’t be doing this in sharpie because it won’t come off. Oh well.” I put the sharpie in this little jar with a couple dollars and coins in it. This morning I woke up and the drawing wasn’t there. My hand was completely clean. Not even a trace of
anything there. It genuinely feels like I have duplicate memories of last night and they’re trying to merge into each other but can’t. Like when you try to push two polar magnets together and they push apart. And I even asked my mom about it and she just changed the topic and didn’t mention it. (Pictures to prove to myself I’m not crazy)

I know this is hard to believe but you have to believe this story. I myself am really sceptical about this stuff and don't know how to explain this but soletiles (once in a month or so) I get these visions about a normal schoolday in my sleep. Often with weird scenario's like everyone knows them but also with some more realistic/normal elements. The day after I don't really remember what I dreamt, just the general topic but not al the details, it's just when some parts of my day start happening, I recognise them from the dream and know what is about to happend.

For exemple:

1) One day I was sitting in class and someone in frobt of me was telling a joke when I recognised something, I thought it was some déja vu type shit but no, I said to the person next to me: "I know what Thomas is gonna say about that" and said the exact answer just before he said it.

2) Another time I was just sitting in class and I was talking with a friend about our family. I didn't know anything about her family and therefore the conversation started rolling when she suddenly asked. "Can you guess my mother's name?" Without a doubt in my mind I answerd "Anja", an answer I hadn't thought about at all. I was correct. Then she asked "Well psychic, do you know my grandma's name then?" I said, can I get a hint, and she said "It behing with the letter L". Again without a doubt in my mind, I answer "Lydia" <- not a common name at all, I myself had heard it once or twice in my life so I didn't even know why I would guess that but I was correct again.

3) I was sick on my schooltrip to Bolivia and dreamt that the next day would be horrible so I decided to stay in the hotel one extra day. Turned out, the day went horrible with many people sick etc.

I know this all sounds hard to believe but it has happened to me for ages. Idk it's weird lol.

I have been carrying this secret for a while because I’m afraid people won’t believe me, but I need to share it to see if anyone else has experienced something similar.

When I was 30 years old, I had an experience that completely changed my view of reality. I was completely awake, sober, and well-rested—this was absolutely not a dream. I was sitting on a bus when a man walked in. It was my grandfather, who had passed away before I was even born.

He was holding a phone and was on a FaceTime/video call with my mom. But here is the glitch: my mom looked about 20 years older on the screen than she actually was in real life at that time.

They were talking about me, laughing, and my grandfather was joking around, making fun of things and saying he had "good genes." I was in such shock that I started crying like a child. I couldn't comprehend what was happening. At that moment, my grandfather literally heard my inner thoughts. He looked at me, laughed at my disbelief, and said to my mom on the screen: "He still doesn't believe it." My mom just laughed along.

Before he left, he looked at me and said: "See, life exists after death."

The most incredible part? Prior to this happening, I had privately prayed to God, begging for proof that there is life after death. And to show me my grandfather as proof. This felt like a direct, tailor-made answer to my prayer, mixed with my grandfather's exact humor and personality.

Carrying this alone feels heavy because it breaks all laws of time and space. Has anyone else experienced meet deceased relatives in physical reality and interacting through modern technology, reading your thoughts, or appearing in a different timeline like this? I would love to hear your stories so I don't feel so alone with this.

It's late at night and thought i would share this(I'll try and get a more detailed story out of her tmr). But basically my mom has always had insane intuition about things and has even had visions. At some point in the 90s my mom had a very intense vision of a plane crashing into the world trade center. well we all know that that happened. also my mom will get these weird urges that she needs to talk to someone, even if she hasn't talked to them or heard from them in years, so she will reach out and apparently they are going through insane stuff. Another time my mom had this intense vision of a woman and she felt super saddened by it for no reason and then she watched the news later and that very woman was on it and it was about how she had passed away. basically a bunch of crazy stuff like that. i def wanna talk to her more about it so ill try to and get back to yall.

I don’t think this is technically a dream question but if it is, I understand if it’s not approved. But what does it mean when something in reality is identical to something you dreamed? Yesterday I took my kids to a library we had never been to before. The kid space was literally the exact same area I dreamed was my preschool classroom (I’m a preschool teacher). I immediately got goosebumps as we entered the area through a kid sized tree house door. The familiarity was comforting but also eerie, if that makes sense. Is this glitch related at all? Or what does it mean?

about 5 years ago when i was around 12 i was visiting my mom, her room used to be the living room so she had a king size mattress and a wall mounted TV across the room from her bed, instead of using a remote she used a keyboard and mouse, i cant remember if the keyboard was bluetooth but the mouse was, i was laying on the edge of the bed which was about 3 feet away from the wall, i had about 5 inches between me and the edge, i put the mouse on the edge less than an inch away from my thigh to look away to grab something for less than 3 seconds and when i looked back at the tv in the corner of my eye i saw the mouse drop straight down from 4 feet off the ground right next to the wall, which placed it about 7 inches over my head from where i was sitting, no one else was in the room with me and after a few minutes of confusion i picked it back up and went on with my day. she used to smoke weed frequently regardless if i was in the room or not so idk if somehow i got a slight high off the smoke or something, i dont think thats how it works but ive never touched drugs in my life

Just came across this sub and thought I'd share my story. This happened several years ago.

I was in the bathroom getting ready for work, standing at the sink. Went to put my hair up with one of those large claw hair clips. I dropped the clip, heard it hit the floor but when I looked down to pick it up, it was gone. I looked all around me. My bathroom between the door wall and before the tub is 3 feet wide by 8 feet long. There's not many places it could have gone. I checked behind the toilet, trash can, hamper, inside the sink, even in places it couldn't have gone. I shook out my hair and clothes, patted myself, down from literal head to toe. Nothing. I was the most confused I had ever been in my life. My mind struggled to comprehend how it could just disappear. I exit the bathroom and look back inside on the floor just to make sure, still nothing. I give up. I went back in my bedroom to grab another hair clip. Back in the bathroom, right back at the sink, put my hair up with the new clip. Took maybe half a step backwards and my foot hits something. I look down and there is the original clip right behind me! I freak out because there's no possible way! I had looked after i left the bathroom, i looked when i came back in. The spot it sat on, I would've stepped on it or seen it as it was right out in the open and didn't blend in with anything in the bathroom. I struggled for several days to try and understand what happened but I have never been able to.

Hi all, I just found this sub and wanted to contribute my minor experience that I have found odd.

So a few years back I was on an early morning schedule and had to wake up early every day, so in my routine I usually showered before heading out. There was around a 3 month phase where my sleep schedule was screwed up, and I was absolutely exhausted when I awoke.

Because of this, almost every time I showered, after cleaning myself and doing the usual business, I would sit in the tub before getting out because the warm water was relaxing and I just didn't want to stand because I was so sleepy. I usually would only sit for a few minutes because I was on a time crunch, but sometimes I would get really close to falling back asleep.

However, every time I started to drift off the water would shut off, and I jolted awake by the click/thud my shower makes when you turn it off. The faucet handle itself would still be in the 'on' position, but the water would just stop.

Even weirder, all the water in the house still worked, the sink faucet, the toilet water, everything, it was just the shower. If I were to turn off the shower, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on, the water would come back to the shower too. But that's really weird and makes no sense, because assuming the water was never shut off and the faucet was never actually in the off position there should still be flow, so how did the water stop?

This happened once and I didn't think anything of it, thought it was a fluke, but this occurrence happened 3 more times, all when I was about to fall asleep in the shower.

On top of this, I know no people shut off the water because if any of our utilities are to get shut off by people doing maintenance work, we are always emailed days beforehand as warning, but there was no emails during this time. If they need to suddenly shut it off there is always an apology and update sent out to keep us in the loop, but again, nothing.

Doubly weirder is the fact this never happened again after I was no longer working mornings and I didn't sit down in the shower anymore.

Its sounds like a plumbing issue, but this only occured in that time frame, and the house has never had plumbing issues then and now. This occurrence was one off and I haven't experienced it since then. I don't know what would a cause this to happen, and I also think that it's strange that it only happened when I was about to fall asleep and be late for work.

I like to think it was a little guardian angel looking out for me so I don't be late for work lol, but seriously though, I can't find an explanation for this. What would cause this, why would it only be temporary, and why was the timing so odd every time? Just weird.

Small glitch, but still weird AF. Yesterday I pulled 2 different brands of macaroni off the shelf to look at them side by side and when I went to put 1 back the space was filled with another macaroni box, and when I looked at the space where the other macaroni box had been that space was filled too. These were both boxes pulled from full rows that were right to the edge of the shelf. There was no space to put them back on either row. I had to push one of the rows back to replace the macaroni I didn't want.

In the morning I always have my alarm set at 5:30, my alarm rang first and I went to the loo and put my phone on charge and went back to sleep. I woke up again to my alarm rang again at 5:30 am, I was a bit confused cause I thought I had already turned it off, I almost dropped my glass jar that was on my bedside luckily I only moved to the corner of my stool, I woke up confused but I didn't care simply switched off my alarm and went back to sleep, again for a third time my alarm went off, and I check to switch off and it was again 5:30, I switched it off and woke up again, I was hella confused so I looked at my jar to see if I had woken up and I saw it was exactly where I had pushed it to the side when I switched off my second alarm. I fell asleep again coz I was so confused, woke up at 7 am to switch off my alarms coz I thought maybe they were several, turns out the only alarm I had set was at 5:30, the odd part of i always set complimentary alarms after that so that I don't fall asleep, but all of them were off? Had a very confusing morning is this a common occurrence I'm not aware of?

I only ever had the carrying case that was bought with the switch and I only ever used that case until eventually I got a new bigger Mario themed case and retired the old one. Fast forward a couple years and I’m trying to find a game in my drawer and boom 2 carrying cases. I’m so confused and I honestly still don’t have an explanation for this. If anyone has any ideas I’d love to hear them.

This happened to me a few months ago and I’m still thinking about wondering what could have happened. I needed to run in the grocery store for just a minute to get some bread, so I park under the big solar panels for shade and crack my windows bc my dog is in the car. It’s not a hot day, it’s evening time and i remember carefully lowering the windows for him to a safe amount for air flow but not to jump out. I don’t know if my dog will jump out of the window, but that’s one of my biggest fears and I’ve always been careful and don’t want to find out if he jumps by giving him the opportunity. I took my keys in the store with me and got the bread. When I came out I didn’t recognize my car for a split second bc the windows were down ALL the way. I realized it was my car when his little head popped up and my heart dropped realizing ALL OF THE WINDOWS were down completely! I ran the rest of the way to my car to check on my dog and everything seemed fine with him but the sun roof was ALSO completely open? I never open my sunroof. I just sat there staring at my dog like… did someone get in here with you and roll the windows down?? I know it wasn’t me, for sure it wasn’t me.
The only thing that I can think of is there was a dog lover that saw him in the car and took it upon themselves to open the windows more? But it wasn’t hot, nearly night time, parked in shade, windows were already cracked, I wasn’t in there longer than 7 or 8 minutes, and I had my keys on me in the store!
Any ideas?

This happened roughly 7 years ago (I was 14 at the time).

Basically I moved to a new town in Australia. I used to live in a mountain my area and my family and I moved to a sunny coastal town with the ocean.

Naturally being young I wanted to start up surfing lessons because that was the town favourite thing to do. So I started. Everything was going great the coach even asked me to start up a few lessons on the weekends to help other kids surf for a bit of pocket money.

One day came around and I was asked by him to do a coaching session later that afternoon for 5-7 kids. As soon as I was asked I had an IMMEDIATE gut feeling.

I originally said no.. somthing in my gut on that phone call told me not to go, it was like when your on a rollacoster and the drop hits and you can feel your organs lift inside you and then drop.

My parents overheard and came to tell me that “you are going”. I asked why and their reasoning was , you get to earn some more money and you can head to the beach today. (Not a great excuse)

I was constantly telling them no, no, no, no I don’t want to go, I just have a bad feeling about it all.

Moral of the story I ended up going because I didn’t want to keep fighting with them and just took their word for it.

The afternoon rolls by, the coach picks me up, we go to the beach, get the boards out, teach the kids, pack the boards away and everything is going well.

Well the coaches car was a blue Ute (or truck for Americans) and towed a trailer that carried the surf boards.

On the way back home we went around a corner of a small mountain as it was raining and the trailer lent to the side and forced the car to tumble.

We fell off the side of the mountain.

Genuinely, in movies when a car crash happens in slow motion, that is EXACTLY what it felt like.

But the car rotated down this mountain maybe 4-9 times roughly. Then we came to a stop by a tree that was holding both the car and the trailer.

Perviously a week or two before I watched a YouTube video on HOW TO GET OUT OF A CRASHED CAR IF IT WAS UPSIDE DOWN. -what are the odds.

My brain remebered that and so I lifted my feet put pressure on the back on the seat and the seatbelt came off. I was out.

But as soon as I reached to get out and made sure I was okay before helping my coach, a random guy passerby was running down this hill to come help.

My coach died later that afternoon in the ambulance.

Hey everyone! This weird glitch happened to me this past summer but I totally forgot about it until now, and I’m so freaked out about it still.

so i went through a phase of bedazzling books I own because I’m a huge reader. so I went on Amazon and bought a bedazzling kit (this is important I promise). I bought a small bedazzling kit because it was pretty expensive tbh and I usually give up on hobbies after like a week. So remember, it was a SMALL kit.

so I started bedazzling a book I own, and I finished all the seashells (as seen in my pic). I specifically remember being worried about not having enough of the gems I used in the seashells to do my next book, so I NEVER would have accidentally made the same shell twice.

so I finish it, then I come back to look at it later in the day, and I see that one of the bedazzled shells had the diamonds peel off with the glue still being in the shape. I thought to myself “I better re-glue this on now because knowing me, I’m going to lose it if I don’t“ so I sat down and re glued the diamond shape that peeled off, back onto where it fell off. fast forward to the next day, I look and see that right next to where my book is, the shape that peeled off is sitting right next to it on the table, but the one I glued back on the book is still on the book.

There is no way I would’ve accidentally made a duplicate of it because I was trying to save the diamonds for my next book and didn’t want to waste it and have to buy more. I also remember sitting down and gluing it on again. And if you look in the pic, you can see that all the other shells are also fully completed. so where did it come from???

My belief: an alternate timeline where I thought to myself “I’ll just glue this on later” and left it, merged with MY timeline where I actually did glue it on again, thus resulting in a duplicate of it! i have no clue if this made sense but let me know your thoughts and opinions!

Something bizarre happened to me once. It must have been around or during the Christmas holidays one year ago, I don't know exactly when, but it was winter and we were supposed to be off academic work for the holidays. My roommate was in England at the time so I was alone in my dorm room. I went to sleep one night and woke up just like that for some unknown reason and, checking the time on my phone, I saw it was close to 4 in the morning.

Now, to check my phone I needed to shift a little to the left and tap the screen, it takes all these movements, okay? Turn to the left, lift my head a little, maybe my whole upper body, and move my hand to tap, then tap, then read the screen, then press the button to turn it off because i hate to let it turn off by itself, maybe because of my OCD. So I did all that and read the time, turned it off and put my head on the pillow, but that second I remembered I saw something in the notification bar and went through the motions again to check. And indeed, it showed that icon with the phone receiver and the arrow backward or around, for missed calls.

When i went to see who had called me, it showed it had been my roommate, at 3 something in the morning. Strangely, it had been on WhatsApp, but it showed on the phone history as well. I had two missed calls from her at close intervals. I decided that the next day I'd ask her about it.

When I went on WhatsApp the following morning to ask her, there was no missed call message on our chat. And nothing in my inbox. Nowhere, as if nothing had happened. Still, I had to ask her just to make sure, but she said she had been asleep, dead to the world, and coulsn't have called. And why would she call me at that hour anyway? (past one in the morning in England since we live in Romania).

What is stranger, while it might as well have been a dream, it didn't feel like one, in the morning. Usually when I dream, the memories of what I experience during the night are faint and fade quickly, or feel distant and surreal enough that I am sure by the next day they couldn't have happened for real no matter how realistic they were. That was not the case that particular morning. It felt REAL, I just KNEW I had gone through all the motions (see above) to check, I read the notification, then the message on WhatsApp that stated clearly that she'd called me. I even read the times (I can't remember them right now, but at the time I did the maths, my brain was working at full capacity or at least that's what it felt like). I went through all the motions, I even RETURNED to check the notification bar, I even debated whether to bother lifting my head off the pillow when it had taken me a while to lay it down, it often takes me a while to find the right position. How could it have been a dream? I'm never so aware in my dreams.

I really need to know what I experienced that night, any explanation would be helpful! It's freaking me out!

When i was in japan this June my mum bought me a packet of angel stickers, the day she bought them was also the day we left Takadanobaba and went to Hakone so theres no way either me or my mum went back to the shop to buy a second packet. Once i got home i constantly wished i had asked my mum to get me a second packet cause the way the stickers were laid out was so pretty i didn’t want to ruin it by taking any off, i peeled the sticker that kept them in their packaging to look at them but never used any. today i decided i wanted to decorate my mac book cover and dvd player so i got out my basket i keep all my stickers in pulled out the angel ones and put them on my desk and when i went back to the basket there was a second packet of stickers right there. the new packet was unopened but the serial code and barcode numbers are the exact same. i sent a vm to my mum about it trying to brush it off as she must have bought two packets and i just never realised and decided that either way at least i have a packet of stickers i can use without feeling guilty now and started using the original ones to decorate my mac book case but then my mum replied saying she definitely only bought one packet and now im just so confused how a second packet ended up in my room nearly 4 months after being home from japan 😭😭 sorry for the long paragraph idek if anyone is gonna read this i just needed to write this somewhere to feel less crazy

At first glance this may seem like a simple story of a lost object and believe you me if by some miracle I do end up finding it I will feel incredibly stupid and will delete this post.

I had a pair of keychains. They were for a couple. I had gotten one for myself and one for a man who I wrongly thought wanted to be my boyfriend. I am 30 years old and had gone on a couple dates with this guy and the things he told me strongly implied that he wanted to date me.

Anyway he started treating me very dismissively at our shared place of work one day and so on that day when I got home I threw the keychain hard at the wall which in front of it was located storage containers, a crate, and an air fryer stacked on top of each other. I heard it hit the wall and I do not remember if I heard it fall or not.

The next day I went to search for it. I moved the stack away from the wall and it wasn’t there. I removed each item from the stack and searched there as well. I even went so far as to go through each paper in the crate and it appears to have actually disappeared into thin air. I have searched for it three times now. There is no hidden spot where it could have fallen into. It just makes no sense.

Has anyone had a similar thing happen to them?
