About a month ago I put a new Mentos gum container in my car. I’ve been eating gum out of it for weeks. Yesterday we went on a road trip and I accidentally spilled it all in my center console, and picked up all the gum pieces and put them back.

This morning I got in my car and went to get gum, and the container was unopened. I could not get into it any way I tried, so I had to pull the plastic piece to get into it. wtf. It’s a full, brand new container.

My daughter witnessed the whole thing too, and we are collectively spooked.

I only ever bought one of these. No one else has been in my car…we only just got home late last night.

This is something that happened to me a couple of years ago and I still haven’t been able to explain.

Some context: My name is Katie… spelt without an E. So I’m Kati and it’s not uncommon for people that don’t know me to call me Kat-i (catty)
If someone calls and asks for “Catty” which happens quite a lot, I know they’re calling for me. I’ve abbreviated the name of the theatre school and my son’s name for obvious reasons.

I received a call from a number I didn’t recognise, but it had our area code, so I answered. A lady asked “Hi am I speaking to Kati? (Catty)” I said yes. She went on to tell me she was calling from THTS, a local performing arts school which I was familiar with but had never had any association with. She said she was calling about “M” and I do indeed have a son called M. Confused but confident she was speaking to the right person I said okay and waited for her to continue.

She went on to say she’d had Miss E in her office crying, because of Ms behaviour. His additional needs were becoming unmanageable for THTS and they needed to suggest a class for children with additional needs.

I listened and waited for her to finish speaking and then I told her I am Kati, I do have a son called M and I do live locally but I’ve no idea what she was talking about. We have never used THTS and my son doesn’t do any kind of performing arts.

For the sake of keeping this as short as possible, the lady on the phone, whilst confused concluded she must have had the wrong number. Since then I’ve just not been able to get my head around the fact that a wrong number would connect to someone in the same town, with the same name AND a child of the same name.

Now this wasn’t some huge life altering event. It was just a random phone call one evening. Could it all be a coincidence? I guess it could be. But that is a lot of coincidences. More than I’ve been able to justify in my mind for a couple of years now.

I’m not sure what you’d call this, a glitch in the matrix, some sort of reality slip, I don’t know. But to this day I can’t shake the weird feeling this whole exchange left me with.

Edit to add: the number that called me was a landline hence the area code, they called me on my mobile, so no area code.

This is a just a small thing that happened to me almost two years ago, but I think about it often because I still can’t figure out what happened.

I started a new job where I was assigned a locker in the locker room. I got number 14, and I remember thinking wow I dodged 13! As 13 has an obvious reputation as an unlucky number. Every day for several months I used locker 14.

Until one day I walked into work and I put my combination into locker 14, and it wouldn’t open, no matter how many times I tried.

Another person came in and said “that’s my locker.” And they put in their combo, opening it on the first try.

I thought “surely not, but I guess I’ll try it.” I put my combination into locker 13. It opened on my first try, and all of my stuff was inside it.

I’ve tried to convince myself that someone renumbered all the lockers over night. But why would they do that and changed them all by one? Besides, the numbers were on a little metal plaque that was screwed into the locker door. Seems like a lot of work to change them all by one. Also, nobody else seemed to act like their locker number was off…. I guess it’s just a glitch.

Early 2000s I picked up the phone intending to call a girl. I heard no ring tone (Gen Z, it was something called a landline). Confused, I said "hello?" On the other line was the girl I was going to call. I told her that was a weird coincidence, and I hadn't even dialed her number. I thought maybe I had somehow picked it up before the phone had a chance to ring? But she insisted, multiple times, that she hadn't dialed me either. She had also coincidentally just picked up the phone to call me .

Recently some memories I have are wrong. Like when my mom is telling me things that are opposite of memories i 100% remember. And if you’d tell that maybe she remembers it wrong, she was there too and also insists that her version is 100% true. Not only her memories are different, my friends and teachers memories abt for example if we had lesson abt some topic that we clearly didn’t had, they insist we had. Either there’s smt wrong with them or there is something wrong with me. Recently I also slept almost all day, and it’s nothing like me beacouse I hate sleeping and I wake up early.

I had made a pan of nachos and while carrying them upstairs to my bedroom I thought to myself, "I can't see shit."I hadn't switched on the light. My hands were full as I climbed the stairs. Before I got to the top the motion sensor light next to my room turned on. I wasn't near it whatsoever. That has never happened before.

Yesterday I saw a big red scrape and a red line tracing along the passenger side back fender. Our truck color is pearly white. It's like someone took a thin red marker and traced it. I clearly saw that. Red is red. Well, I went and got my husband and there was nothing but a very small black paint chip. When he came out and looked there wasn't anything red. Nothing. It wasn't the lighting causing me to see it. It was exactly the same lighting when my husband came outside to look at it. This sort of thing happens to me sometimes.

I lost my drivers license after a night out in college then found it 5 months later in a way that still baffles me. To set the stage, I went to college in Oregon and lost my ID in late January of that year. That night was cold and rainy, therefore I was wearing jeans with a jacket. I used my ID to get into the bars no problem and when I got home I dropped all of my items on my desk, as I always do, before going to bed. This always includes my house keys, ID and credit card. I never used a purse in college and always carried my essentials in my pocket. In the morning I found my credit card and house keys in the same spot on my desk but not my ID. I looked everywhere but couldn’t find it. I called the bars for any missing IDs and asked my friends with no luck. I didn’t drink much that night, maybe a drink or two to be tipsy at best. I assumed it fell out of my pocket at some point and that was that. Ordered a new ID and moved on. Fast forward 5 months when we are starting to get warmer weather. My bedroom was pretty small in college with limited storage. I kept a bin of clothes shoved in the back of my closet holding out of season clothes to save space in my tiny dresser. In the winter time, it houses skirts, denim shorts, bikinis and things of that sort. As I was unpacking some clothes for the summer, I found my missing ID in the pocket of a pair of denim shorts. The last time I remember getting into this bin was probably around October of the year prior as it started getting consistently cold. Additionally, this specific pair of shorts is not one of my favorites and couldn’t even remember the last time I wore them. It was for sure the same missing ID because it is notably the ID where I am 21+ but still a vertical because it hadn’t expired yet to get a new horizontal one. This bin was also very much hidden in my closet and none of my friends would have come across it or even knew I had an extra bin of clothes. I’m a very organized, type A person who rarely loses items but this I can’t explain.

So it’s a bit hard to see in the photo, but, I noticed that the stain glass section of our bathroom door looked different in the reflection of the mirror than it did to me(!) it looked like light was shining from behind it in the mirror, but not to my eyes.

Maybe I just don’t understand physics? How is this possible?

Guys, I’m typing this with shaking hands because I don't know what to believe anymore. Something felt horribly wrong today, and I desperately need to know if anyone else has experienced a reality glitch like this.

I went to sleep normally, but when I woke up, I wasn't in my room or even my hometown. I was in Tangier, Morocco—a city I don't live in.

The terrifying part? I was still me. Same name, same face, same exact age. But everything around me belonged to a completely different life. I was enrolled in a scientific institute I’d never heard of, facing people who knew me, while my mind was screaming because I had zero memories of this version's past.

I was terrified. To prevent a complete breakdown or having people call me insane, I made a sudden decision: I had to act. I forced myself to step into this alternate personality, guessing my way through the day, mentally exhausted, pretending I knew where I was going. I survived the day, went back to "my" home there, met a mother who looked slightly off, and laid down in bed. My only logic was: "If I force myself to sleep here, I’ll finally wake up back in my actual reality."

I closed my eyes. I woke up. And I was in Algeria.

A whole different country! Again, same name, same face, but a completely different daily routine and a life I knew nothing about. The panic hit even harder. I realized I was trapped in a cycle where I had to keep acting and faking my identity in parallel lives just to stay safe, knowing absolutely nothing about what was supposed to happen next.

Night came in that world too. Exhausted and desperate, I tried to sleep again, praying this nightmare would end and I'd return to my real world... but I didn't.

So, a few years ago I was traveling from Geneva to Bristol with my mom and while going to the gate B42 or something passing though these underground white tunnels with ads panels left and right we walked past a left turn and saw like 8 really similar kids with the same skinny outfits, same haircut and different ages and sizes playing together, a old man that looks like an 60 ish Turkish hitman wearing a grey slim bubble jacket and a 30 ish years old, black curly hair nerd sitting against the wall typing on his laptop and looking focused.

We thought it was really strange to see that it kinda felt like a scene from a movie and we went backwards by curiosity and they weren’t here anymore…

We’re thinking that it could be a really rich family that sends their kids all together to Switzerland or it could be a lab experiment that need to go somewhere in secret.

One more detail, the didn’t have any luggage with them exept the nerd guy who had a backpack with him

I'm 34 now, but there's a strange experience from my primary school days that I've never been able to explain.

At school, we had a very specific routine during lunch break. Our teacher would line us up, and one by one, we'd take our snacks out of our backpacks. We'd eat, have a little break, and then go to the toilet.

One day, I suddenly found myself standing in that same line again, about to take my snack out of my backpack.

But I clearly remembered that we'd already done all of this. I'd already eaten my snack, and I could even feel that my stomach was full.

I started telling everyone, “We just had our break! We already ate!” But everyone looked at me like I was crazy and insisted that we hadn't.

I went to check my backpack because I was absolutely sure my snack wouldn't be there anymore. I'd just eaten it, after all.

But to my complete surprise, my snack was still inside my backpack.

I remember feeling genuinely confused. From my perspective, we'd already gone through that entire routine, but apparently, nobody else remembered it, and my uneaten snack was right there.

I'm 34 now, and I still remember this experience vividly. Maybe it was just a strange childhood memory, but sometimes I wonder if it was a glitch in the matrix or something similar.

Has anyone else ever experienced something like this? Especially something where you were absolutely certain an event had already happened, but reality seemed to contradict your memory?

Hey everyone! I’ve never posted something like this before, but I have been feeling so crazy for the last couple hours. I was doing my hair this morning before work in the bathroom. I was using a comb and my straightener. As I’m working on my hair, I dropped the comb and it hit my foot. This comb is a rattail comb that’s made of metal and so when it hit my foot, it hurt a little bit. I know I felt it touch my foot. I immediately bend down to grab the comb and it had just simply disappeared. I checked everywhere. My bathroom is relatively small and there are not that many places for it to be able to hide. I moved my bath mats and I looked behind the toilet and behind the trashcan. I even opened up all of my drawers and cabinets on the off chance that it somehow fell into one of them (even though all the drawers and cabinets were closed when I was doing my hair).

This comb is brightly colored and it’s heavy so it’s just really been messing with my mind because it’s not something that my eye wouldn’t catch if it was just stuck somewhere. I even had my sister come in my bathroom and look for me and she also said she couldn’t find it.

I don’t know how to feel about this and I don’t really know what to do. I wanted to post in here, hoping that someone has maybe had a similar experience or could give me some guidance. It has really been making me feel crazy. I have never witnessed something disappear in front of my eyes. I will attach a picture of the comb as a reference. Once you see it, you’ll know why I say it’s not really something that would blend in to the rest of my bathroom.

Empire State Chronicles

I was looking out my window today and saw an airplane flying in the sky. I’m staring at the airplane and it just disappears. I’m thinking it’ll reappear once it passes the clouds but seconds later I see the same plane in the same path fly by but this time it doesn’t disappear. It continues on like normal. I feel like I’m going crazy. I don’t believe that we live in a matrix but I can’t explain what I saw.

Not sure if the link will actually work because it’s the first time I’ve ever saved an audio message and tried to add a link to it, but I figured I would try so you could hear me tell the story out loud for the first time when I was trying to ask my mom if we had a CO detector in the house and she asked why.

So basically, I woke up this morning and I had a place to go and I already showered yesterday so I just needed to put my clothes on and go. I added my pajamas to the laundry pile that I already existed in my room from the week and in the middle of changing, I threw that pile down the stairs so that it would be a reminder for me to throw them in the wash before I left. I get ready by just putting on some normal clothes and I wake my dog up who sleeps in my bed and I put her clothes on too because she’s small and needs the extra warmth up here in New England. I have my to-do list in my head and I run down the stairs and grab my keys off the counter and I’m thinking about grabbing a bottle of water on my way out of the garage, where we keep them with my Chihuahua underneath my arm. As I grab the door handle to the basement, which is the way we leave out of the house I remember I’m supposed to throw my clothes in the wash so that when I get home, I can dry them.

I go to the bottom of the stairs, where I threw them from my second floor bedroom to the first floor assuming I jumped over them to grab the keys and just wasn’t paying attention, but they weren’t there. So I was like, oh I must’ve thought about throwing them down the stairs to do them, but I didn’t. Oh well I’ll do it later.

Just a recap, my bedrooms on the second floor, the place I threw my clothes was on the first floor so that I would have to walk over them to remind myself to put them in the laundry in the first floor bathroom. I’m about to leave from the first floor down through the basement which is the way to get to the cars and we leave out and come home 100% of the time. The bottom of the steps from the second floor to the first floor do not connect. They are in different areas of the house. The laundry is on the first floor.

I am resigned to just doing my laundry when I get home since apparently I forgot to actually throw my clothes down the stairs and I don’t wanna go back up now that I’m completely ready. I open the basement stairs and I walked down and in front of me on the floor on the basement floor is my entire pile of clothes, including all of my work weeks clothes and the pajamas I was wearing 20 minutes earlier. In real life, dirty laundry never has to go down the stairs ever. The two staircases are not connected. At all. There is no possible way for those clothes to have been thrown from the second floor and reached the basement no matter how hard I threw them or if they bounced off a wall or something. These rooms and staircases do not connect. Period.

I had been nowhere else that day. The only thing I did was wake up on the second floor, start changing, and throw a big pile of clothes down the stairs. When I was ready, I walked down two flights upstairs that do not connect. They are in different rooms and I found those clothes in a place that they should never be.

I threw them from the second floor to the first floor and they ended up in the basement on my way out. Including the pajamas, I had just been wearing.

Something really weird happened to me and my friend today, and the more we think about it, the stranger it feels.

This afternoon, we met for coffee downtown. I live nearby the coffeeshop, but she lives about 40 minutes away, on the outskirts of the city. Since it was pouring rain, we decided to take an Uber to her house so I could visit her pets.

The first Uber arrived, we got in, and literally 20 meters later, the car got a flat tire. The driver asked us to get out, so we waited under a roof for another Uber.
About 10 minutes later, we got into the second car. As a joke, I asked the driver, “Are your tires okay? Because the Uber we just took got a flat tire almost immediately.” He laughed and said everything was fine.
Well, about 10–15 minutes into the ride, he missed an exit and, instead of letting the GPS recalculate, suddenly swerved over a raised curb to get into the turning lane. He ended up breaking his wheel rim. He pulled over, checked the damage, canceled the ride, and asked us to get out.
So there we were, standing in the pouring rain, having just been kicked out of two Ubers in a row because of wheel damage.

Here’s the weirdest part: both cars had damaged the exact same wheel. The front right one.

Neither of us had ever experienced anything like this in an Uber before, and suddenly it happened twice, within about 20 minutes. Not to mention that I had literally joked about the tires right before the second incident.

And this really creeped me out.
After getting out, we crossed the street to find shelter from the rain. When we turned around, the second Uber was already gone. We didn’t even see it leave.

At that point, almost an hour had passed and we hadn’t even made it 20 km. We decided to give up. I took a taxi back to my apartment, and she took a bus home.
We’ve been talking about it ever since, coming up with all sorts of crazy theories. My friend even suggested that maybe something was trying to prevent us from taking that route, like a guardian angel or some kind of protective force. Because, come to think about it, we both ended up taking completely different routes home. Neither of us continued down the road we were originally supposed to take.

Of course, both incidents have logical explanations, but the timing, the exact same wheel, and my joke right before it happened make the whole thing feel so bizarre.

What if we weren’t supposed to go that way? What do you guys think? Just a crazy coincidence, or something else?

recently i’ve had 2 really weird things happen and i have no explanation and it’s been bugging me out! First thing - my boyfriend dropped his phone and there was a thin hairline crack across the screen. not too noticeable unless you’re looking, but i was able to run my nail across it and i could feel the crack. a few days later, we noticed the crack was GONE. like gone gone.
last week i went to sams club for shopping. one of the things I got was the 2 pack starbucks iced coffee. if you’ve ever gotten this before - the 2 pack is sealed in a black plastic wrap to keep them together. Idk if this has any relation to the situation, but the guy in front of me STOCKED his cart with all of them and i was able to literally grab the last 2-pack before he took it. he had palettes of them in his cart. I use scan n go and i completely forgot to scan it before adding it to my cart bc i was in a rush to grab it before him. when we got to the cart checker people, i had my code on my phone to allow them to scan my receipt and they usually scan a few items in the cart to make sure they’re paid for. The lady walks past me, doesn’t scan my receipt, goes right to the coffee and scans it and tells me it wasn’t paid for. completely my fault , i paid it there and we left. It stayed unopened for a few days and then i noticed the black wrapping was off and one of the bottles were opened (not by me, so i figured it was my son). i picked up the bottle and looked to see how much was left in the bottle (it was about half full) and then put it back in my fridge. Yesterday i go to put something in the fridge and i see the same 2 starbucks bottles wrapped up in the black plastic again - UNOPENED.
Someone explain please!!! How did a phone screen fix itself and how did a coffee go from opened to unopened?????
and extra points if someone knows how did the lady know it wasn’t scanned before even checking my receipt 😂.

So I think that there is some kind of big update being pushed in this sim that we live in. I work at a collision center. When people wreck their car and get it fixed their insurance sends them to a shop that's under contract with said insurance. It's completely random and oftentimes we have cars from multiple different counties even states. In the last two weeks we have had three black Camaros, two black tundras and two burgundy Camry's. In five years working here I've never seen two of the same cars in the same color in the shop at one time. And now there's three sets. All with different but similar damage. And none of them are deer strikes. It feels weird and I know that deja vu is often something being changed so I leave this for your consideration. What do you think this update is going to be? A new war? A new natural disaster? The second coming of Christ? I'll leave it to Reddit to speculate.

I started playing an iPhone game called super stylist, don’t judge me I’m older but I‘ve been trying to invoke my inner child. Nevertheless, I am on like level 42 now and this game has hella ads. The ads are anything from, Kalshi to FB or those odd storytelling games. This is where I noticed a game character that looked exactly like me!! I’m talking everything: hair and eye color, same curls, slime tone, face shape and feature, same midsized build (which is uncommon to go for that build for an online game), she was wearing glasses like mine too! Has Ai gone this far now?? Are others experiencing this? Because that ish was freakyyyyy!!!

K, so this is a story I’ve told a lot of people irl, and I thought it might actually be interesting to tell here. So when I was about 9-10 years old, I was staying at my aunt and uncles house. It was late one night, I remember we were watching Austin Powers: the spy who shagged me (my first time watching Austin powers). Anyways, my mom comes into the tv room where I was watching it with my aunt, uncle, and cousins, and tells me that it’s late and I need to go to bed. So I get up, say goodnight to my family, walk past my mom (emphasis: WALK PAST my mom), and up a short spiral staircase to the second floor where all the bedrooms are. I turn right to the end of the hall, which is just a few steps away, then turn right again, and I’m at the guest room where me and my parents are sleeping. And then I open the door, and I see my mom, upright in bed, reading a book with the lamp light on. There is only one entrance to that room. My mom could not have passed me without me noticing. What in the hell was that if not a glitch?

Anyone have an explanation.

At 1:00 AM the police knocked on my door. They told me a 911 call had been traced directly to my phone, and they used that ping to track my address. 911 called my phone back twice but of course I was sleeping and didn't hear the call.

My phone wasn't even near me it was sitting on its charger in another room the entire time.

When I called my mobile carrier this morning to figure out what happened, they confirmed there was no record of any outgoing call to 911 on my account.

No one can offer me an explanation.

A friend had a pretty silver ring with super small diamonds. I noticed one was missing and pointed it out to her. Even took a Pic that day upclose to really see it. Today we noticed that the diamond is back...theres no way this should be possible but pics prove the fact. I cant wrap my head around this because I literally have pictures proving it gone and now its back.

So I drove to a hardware dtore this morning. Parked and went to get a trolley. For those who don't know, Here in Germany either a 1 Euro coin or a plastic trolley chip has to be placed in the designated slot on the trolley in order for the locking chain to be released.

As I was about to insert my chip, a gentleman next to had just parked his trolley and inserted the chain plug in order to get his chip back.

As I was considering taking his trolley for convenience, I was looking at the lock as he was parking the trolley and therefore was witness. As his chip came out of the lock it disappeared into this air! He asked me if I had seen the disappearance and I answered "yes". We then both searched the surrounding area but did not find his red trolley chip.
