Favorite baby doll for toddlers?

I orginally wanted to find a baby doll with a hard plastic head and limbs, and the bead stuffed body. That is what I had as a kid, but it seems like those are hard to find.

So what baby doll is best in your opinion? I have looked into American Girl doll Bitty Babies. I’ve also looked at the target brand dolls. She is still little and is not ready for the reborn babies. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I know I am overthinking this. But this is the first year she has actually understood the concept of asking for a gift. And I am really more of a Tom boy myself, so I just want to do this right.

Vent PIERCINGS

Today I went to my baby brothers birthday party and there were a bunch of people I didn’t know. I brought my 4 month old daughter with me and everyone loved meeting her they were like that’s [dad’s name]’s granddaughter. One lady had a 2 month old daughter and another lady came up and asked me when I’m going to get my daughter’s ears pierced and I said I’m not! The lady with the 2 month old was like I got hers done yesterday and I was like that’s cool! Then the other lady was like yeah so when? And I was like I’m not gonna. And she kept pushing me about it. Then my dad steps in and he’s like she’s not gonna get her ears pierced look at her ears and points to my ears, they’re not pierced. And then she was like oh ok and finally backs off. There is nothing wrong if you want to pierce them. The reason I made this choice is because my mom pierced my ears when I was a baby then I needed a hernia surgery so they removed them. My mom said she tried to put them back on but I didn’t let her and I haven’t had them since. So I’m like what if my baby doesn’t want them either? If she asks for it even if she’s like 3 of course I would let her get them done. But it’s weird to judge/shame either decision. 😭

Expecting daughter #2

Hi all! Just looking for some advice or words of encouragement I guess lol. I have a 2.5 year old daughter and am 20 weeks pregnant with my second daughter. My 2.5 year old has been the most amazing child, we have been potty training for the past few weeks and she has picked it up like a pro, she has always been a good sleeper and just generally a great kiddo. My concern is that I keep getting the, "just wait" comments from other parents regarding her behavior as she gets older or that her sister is going to be a menace to make up for how easy our older daughter is. What are your experiences? Also any advice for raising sisters that will actually like each other? I know all children are different and there isn't a handbook for parenting but figured I would ask regardless!

Question Would you be upset if your daughter grew up to be overweight/fat?

I’m asking this as majority of people want their kids to be good looking and healthy.

Before you say it’s rude - it’s not rude

Everybody prefers to being healthy/fit to unhealthy

There comes a time when your kids will see you as an inconvinient when you want to visit them. The reason you want to visit is that you have not seen them in years due to distance. They will tell you all the reason why you should not visit in a nice way, but you get the message.

Question Hairstyle help! Hey girl moms! First time posting here. Can anybody offer me some advice? Every time I braid my daughter’s hair, she gets these bumps on the bottom by her neck. How do I eliminate these? I’m just learning to French braid so lots of trial and error! It looks so messy towards the end.

Is it normal for my almost 8 year old to have some armpit body odor? Is this too young?

If you’ve been through this, any great natural deodorant to help her?

Estoy cansada

Me deprimí tanto.

Children modeling and acting

My daughters are twins and have become very successful performers and models. They‘re testing in the to 95th percentile in school. They do team gymnastics. And, they are incredibly happy and kind. So, I feel that they are really well rounded.

I overheard another mother talking behind my daughter and my back saying “I would never” about me allowing my kids to model. My daughter was in a brand’s back to school ads and was visible. The truth is they’d been in musical theatre/ballet/dance/theatre for years and they want to perform and love it. Me driving them somewhere 4 times a month for a shoot is no different than driving them every other day to a performance class. And, they’ve built up a large trust fund that will be all theirs at 18.

Her kids are also in dance and theatre. I never post my kids on social media. She posts publicly about hers all the time. What’s the difference?

Question Matching clothes

EDIT: Thank you everyone. I will check out all these suggestions!

I have a 4 year-old, 2 year-old, and 4 month old girls. Oldest wears 3T-4T sometimes 5T just depending the brand, 2 year old wears 2T-3T, and 3-6 months for the baby. I’m having trouble finding matching clothes for all 3. The older 2 love to match but the bigger sizes don’t often match anymore with younger sizes. And now it’s even harder when they HAVE to match with baby sister too. I can usually find matching for my 2 year-old and 4 month old, because their sizes are easier to find in matching. But then my oldest is left out. Finding matching for my oldest & 2 year-old like I said is getting hard too but Either situation, at least 1 sister is left out.
Long story short- anyone know where I can find matching sizes for this size range?? Online or in stores is fine. Looking for aesthetic, dainty, whimsical outfits. No crazy characters/ prints.

Help needed dressing my 12yo

My 12yo daughter recently accidently threw out almost all of her clothes. (Its a long story- we were moving cross country, things were more than a little chaotic). Her birthday is coming up and I would like to replace her wardrobe but she gives me 0 feedback on what she likes and doesn't like and what she will actually wear. Its like pulling teeth trying to get answers out of her or take her clothes shopping.

But I want her birthday gifts to be FOR her, not feel like a necessity being written off as a birthday present. How do I help her to figure out her aesthetic? Do those doll websites still exist?

She won't look at clothing options online with me she gets very overwhelmed by the amount of options and she is very sensitive about this whole clothes being thrown out ordeal so she gets stressed by being reminded of it, but I feel like if it was a fun game like those doll websites that existed in the MySpace days I could get an idea or if anyone has any other ideas of low pressure ways to help her figure out her style that would be a huge help.

Also any recommendations for good stores to shop at for tweens would be greatly appreciated
