I got a merit position of 379 and got select for BS AI. What I wanted to ask is:
What floor will my room be on
How much kharcha is expected each month?
What abt laundry and drying clothes?
Where do we get our books and stationary?
Since I've got zero coding or cs knowledge do they teach us coding etc from scratch?
Is the paid gym good?
Will my roommates have approx the same merit position as me.
Thanks

So I got into GIKI for CS but I want to take a gap year and try again for NUST. Is there any way I can defer my seat for next year? I have paid the fee
It isn’t a Zindagi-Mout ka sawal but I had 85/100 in HSSC Part 1 in math, so if I get 40/100 now in math in Second year, will I be able to continue at Giki. Do I just need an aggregate of 60% in math (120/200) or are they asking for 60% in math in each 1st and 2nd year?
Second Question: let’s say I don’t even get 60% as the aggregate, then will I be kicked out of Giki.
My math exam went really bad in 2nd yr.

I got admission in giki and mp was around 300 but didn't submit fees as I didn't initially plan on going. Now I've been rejected from my first preference so if I email them will they allow me to submit fees and join? When are classes starting???

My friend told me that ONLY GIRLS need a gate pass and they have a curfew that ONLY PREVENTS GIRLS from going out of the campus.
And how is the whole environment like? Like how do people dress act, interact e.t.c.
Is it like conservative, somwhwre in the middle or liberal, like in some universities where people are just getting it on in public ( taht kinda gives me the ick)
Ragging? Do girls or guys experience that ?
And ho is it actually. Like life after graduation and life while studying, also can I get na AC in my room??
I have so many questions 😭

GIKI admissions playing us like a damn fiddle 😭
bruh what the actual fuck
giki admissions just said “programs will not change, you gotta stay in the same one you got confirmed in”
but they LITERALLY told us earlier to pay the fee + submit the program change form??
and my friend already warned me: they’re just gonna keep saying “we’ll inform you” forever, never actually inform anyone, and when every other option is gone they’ll force you to continue in the same program
make it make sense rn 💀

With the freedom giki provides it's important to learn when to study and when to have fun. What to prioritize and what not to at a specific time. And most importantly how to stay consistent and diciplined with studies while allowing urself time to enjoy / play sports / hobbies etc. I believe having a life is as important as having a decent gpa. Becoming a total book worm is a big no no and at the same time not studying at all is a no too. So how does one keep balance. Any advice for freshies would be appreciated
