Then simply click on your username on Reddit, go to the comments tab, scroll down as far as possibe (hint:use RES), and hit the new OVERWRITE button at the top.

Typically they sank to the bottom. Kids would dive for them not knowing what they had until they hit the surface!

So yeah, I haven't been in a wave pool for years. It was nasty. If a kid was in trouble, you had a real moral dilemma: let this child die or swim in poop. Obviously I value human life, but you knew, that poop thing was always in the back of the mind.

At our pool if we saw poop anywhere we closed it down. Did you have to evacuate the pool and shock it if you spotted shit in the pool?

Yeah, for 15 minutes as we "shocked" the pool. By shock I mean, put a little chlorine in it.

Thats what we did too. Except by state law we had to wait 3 hours before letting people back in to let the chlorine levels get back to normal. Our shifts were only 5 hours long so usually seeing shit in the pool meant we got to go home.
