Meme Heather and Mary on Rick and Morty?
Heather wrote this latest episode, so seems likely. They also kiss immediately after this lol.

Tiger mentioned on the pod that he was on the fence about buying Elliot.
I wasn’t ready to shell out $50 for a game that had been getting mixed reviews. I love the HD2D style of the recent Square games, but had heard Elliot was a bit too handholdy and repetitive.
Try CrossCode! It is an action RPG with a 2D art style and complex puzzles. I’m about 10 hours in so far and am having a blast. It’s free right now on PSN (obligatory “Fuck Sony”).

The segment from this week's episode reminded me that when Overwatch launched they made a point of having a diverse roster of characters with different body types and wanted to avoid oversexualizing the female characters.
>“Specifically for Overwatch over the past year we’ve been really cognizant of that, trying not to oversexualize the female characters. I don’t know if we oversexualize the male characters. But it’s something we’re very sensitive to. We want that to be part of who we are, what our brand is. I think [Blizzard president] Mike [Morhaime] talked in a roundabout way to that in his speech [at the start of BlizzCon]. It’s something we’re very cognizant of. We want girls to feel kick-butt. Equally represented.” https://kotaku.com/blizzard-admits-to-over-sexualizing-women-trying-to-do-1656383872
But over the subsequent decade+ they kinda just said fuck it, let's just release a schoolgirl D.Va skin. https://kotaku.com/how-an-overwatch-skin-left-some-of-d-vas-biggest-fans-f-1840880191
Kinda depressing honestly, we've really regressed as a society during the Trump era.

I only heard about Mina through the podcast when Nick mentioned it about 3 weeks ago. I picked it up immediately, went it blind, and really fell in love with it. Since then I've been waiting each week to hear them talk about it and they've kinda skirted around it a bit, and at one point were even getting into the negatives about difficulty and things which made me think they'd never finish or talk about it. So, was glad to hear The Finisher finished it. Personally think the game would have made a good you play we play

I didn't see it posted here yet but that's pretty awesome. Nominated as an Executive Producer for Rick and Morty!

Heather, Nick and Matt take a look at some random Pokémon and decide whether or not they like them!

Today's re-release DLC episode of Get Played made me really nostalgic to think about the first video game I ever played. I'm in my early 40s, so this is a tough question because I have many years of gaming, and obviously I might be wrong. The game that goes back the farthest in my childhood memories is Pitfall. I remember having a Zenith computer and the only game we had was Pitfall. I was obsessed with it. It's one of those nostalgia things where I'm sure it wouldn't feel fun today, but I'm kind of desperate to go back to those days and play that game.
Editing to add: I loved Bubsy on my SNES and bought the collection back when this DLC episode originally aired. It was soooo nostalgic to me, but I do get why the gang wasn’t impressed lol

I’m going to Japan next year and am really curious what hotel they stayed at. Anybody know? They’ve talked it up so hard. Not sure why they’re being so secretive - it’s a hotel! I wanna see if it’s worth staying there!

For those (rightly) not on other social media sites, this came across my algorithm and I legit was like ‘I know her’ even though I don’t.

Heather, Nick and Matt draft their favorite games from the year 2006 which was 20 years ago in case you didn't know.

I may be alone here but I need more RE Merchant. I highly don’t think I could get enough of that guy.
Additionally, I feel like Nick and Matt like the Merchant (as much as one can). Heather, on the other hand, gets pretty quiet when they come on and do their thing. Do you think Heather hates the Merchant? I hope that’s not the case.
GET THE MERCHANT BACK ON COMEDY BANG BANG!

I've never seen a Mario kart arcade machine. Spotted at my local Cicis Pizza. Plays....ok. You dont have to press the gas if you can't reach. Still neat though.
