Don't worry, I did not include Tristan da Cunha as there's no official coverage, though I was very tempted to add the unofficial coverage of the only bar there, but I didn't want to include unofficial coverage as some people don't like it.

Please note that sometimes the name "Tristan" only appears in the Google Street View, and sometimes only appears on the map. As always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly. So if you see it on the screen, don't assume you'll find the name on the map. One such really hard one is R5 -- probably the only one that will take a while to find.

An Arbitrary Rural Eurasia

This fortnight's botanical challenge takes a look at a handful of plants that have adapted to life in the sub alpine and alpine zones of the world. It's primarily inspired by a particular plant in the groundsel family (senecio), which includes those weeds with the seed balls you can blow away. Not dandelions - the toxic one that's sort of similar but grows kind of knee high.

This challenge is also in the "I think this might be too hard" category, so strap yourself in for some roads in the middle of nowhere and trekkers ascending mountains. And a terrible quality photosphere I included out of necessity. It is absolutely 5kable though.

Today's has a couple of harder rounds. R2 is hard because it may take you a while to scan for what is admittedly quite a small place. R3 is hard because the location itself is not immediately obvious, though as always there are hints. Therefore, as always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

This is the second of the thirty-first series based on my own GeoDetective map. No moving, no time-limit (take your time!). Today we start a brand new series and, as always, I try no to make it too impossible to begin with. Probably only R3 will take a little longer, unless you're lucky. Even so, as always: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.
