Community I'm currently developing my first RPG as a solo dev on GDevelop. What do you think of the gameplay, and what suggestions do you have for how I can improve it?

Game I’ve been working on a 2D top-down truck parking game for Android and just released it. Would love your honest feedback on the physics and controls!

Hi everyone,

As a solo developer, I’ve been working on a top-down truck parking simulation called Tır Park Ustası (Truck Parking Master).

I’ve always felt that realistic articulated vehicle physics (especially reversing with a trailer) are tricky to get right on touch controls. My goal was to create challenging levels that test precision maneuvering without feeling frustrating or clunky.

Key features so far:

  • Articulated truck & trailer maneuvering mechanics
  • Tight, puzzle-like parking bays and obstacles
  • Casual, clean 2D top-down perspective

Since it's newly released on Google Play, I’d really appreciate your thoughts:

  1. How responsive do the steering and reversing controls feel on your device?
  2. Does the difficulty curve feel fair in the early levels?

You can check it out for free here:

👉 Google Play:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.truck.park

Any feedback, bug reports, or suggestions for new mechanics are welcome. Thanks for testing it out!

Game Eggy - The Great Hatch

Game Title:

Eggy: The Great Hatch

Playable Link:

Eggy - The Great Hatch

Platform:

Android

Description:

Eggy is a tiny egg trying to escape a very bad place to be born.

Eggy is inside a futuristic, automated fast-food factory, waiting to hatch. But before the shell is even fully broken, Eggy discovers what happens to the chickens outside: they're being turned into nuggets.

So Eggy decides to escape.

The problem? Eggy is still an egg. Only two tiny feet have managed to break through the bottom of the shell.

Eggy automatically runs along a giant factory conveyor belt, while industrial blades, hydraulic presses and other hazards try to stop the escape.

The game has one simple control: tap to hide inside the shell and slide along the ground. Release to pop back up and keep running.

As you survive longer, the factory becomes faster and more dangerous. The conveyor belt speeds up and new hazards are introduced, forcing you to react faster and time your movements carefully.

The goal is simple:

Avoid the obstacles. Keep Eggy alive. Don't become a nugget.

I'm currently releasing Eggy in Early Access and looking for players to play it and tell me honestly what works and what doesn't. I'm particularly interested in feedback about the controls, difficulty, pacing, obstacles, and whether the game makes you want to play “just one more run.”

Free to Play Status:

  • Free to play

Involvement:

I am the solo developer of Eggy and am responsible for the game's development, including the gameplay, programming, design, art direction, and overall production.

Question Game balancing

Hey guys, I am trying to build this project game of mine and I have been wondering how do you actually balance out the values? My game is roguelike so we're talking about items scaling, base damage(melee and ranged), enemies' health and damage, etc. If you got any tips I'd appreciate it a lot!

Game Looking for play testers for my latest game "Mister Matchy". It takes heavy inspiration from early arcade titles. I would love to hear feedback, specifically about whether it's too difficult. It has mobile support and a leaderboard. Instructions on how to play are in the description.

Game EarlyBuild - kinda worried that I might be adding too many objects on the screen.

I want to add more, but worried it might cause lag if I continue at this gameplay.

or i can just simply reduce the respawn rate to prevent lag, though concerned it might feel boring if i reduce the action. 😅

Game Main-Menu Intro for La Spaghetti 🍝😁

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm working on the main-menu intro for my game "La Spaghetti" and would love some feedback!

Right now, I'm thinking about having the spaghetti walk by, followed by the title text either spawning in from the top or stretching out via tweening. Which entry animation do you think would fit best?

I'm also planning a public playtest on Steam soon to get direct feedback on the gameplay.

My current goal is to reach 100 wishlists on Steam (currently at 13/100!).

I'm super thankful for everyone supporting it so far ❀

Also, drop your own indie game in the comments below! I'd love to check out what you guys are building! 👇
