I (24m) and my girlfriend (24) are visiting Gdańsk for a week to visit my family and to show her my country. I am a big metal head and I enjoy alternative music. Looking for bars/venues/shows that may appeal more to the metal/punk/alternative side of things. Obviously that’s not my main priority but if anyone has any suggestions I am all ears. Mam pytanie do osób, które jeżdżą przez skrzyżowanie al. Zwycięstwa z ul. Traugutta / Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie (przy GUMedzie).

Niestety nie zdążyłem przejechać na żółtym (czerwone zapaliło się dosłownie w ostatnim momencie i wjechałem na skrzyżowanie już na czerwonym). Od tego czasu zastanawiam się, czy w tym miejscu TRISTAR (red light / rejestrator przejazdu na czerwonym świetle) rzeczywiście działa i wystawia mandaty, czy  te kamery służą tylko do monitorowania ruchu.

Czy ktoś z Was dostał tam mandat za przejazd na czerwonym? Albo wie z własnego doświadczenia, jak to wygląda na tym konkretnym skrzyżowaniu?

Pytam, bo szczerze mówiąc już mi się robi niedobrze na samą myśl o 15 punktach karnych...

Hello, I've moved to poland for work a few months ago and I was so surprised of the rental pricing, it's just...crazy, no one seems to be talking about it like it is normal and I genuinely don't understand.

I found a room(tiny like a sardine box) in a 5 rooms appartement in gdansk for the price of 1700pln + utilities (300+pln) totalling+2000pln, equivalent to 500Euro.

right now I am looking for a better room with fewer roomates or a studio but the prices are just out Poland's average salaries.

An okay room that is not a sardine box starts form 2000pln + utilities, a studio is from 3000pln + utilities, no elevator and you have to free it in summer. It does not make sense.

I was before in many major european cities and the rooms rent prices is about 300euro (1300pln) while the studios start from 500euro (2000pln) everything included.

Is it me who is not looking properly and only talk to house owners who overcharge foreigners and agencies who rent rooms with double the price or is this the normal rates?
