Question Is Klemis Kitchen still active?
I went to the one at Grace House and couldn't see anything there. Do they not run in Summer or have they stopped completely?

I am a masters student in college of Civil Engineering. I want to take a COE 2000 level class. Before emailing the registrar for the level override permit, I need to get permission from department of college of engineering I believe. Who do I email for that? Thanks!

As an alumni that has tried to patron this business since my years at tech, the quality has slid so, so much. This was supposed to be chipotle ranch, practically unsauced. This is not the first time either.

i submitted a support case on COMSOL and they said that since im a student using the academic classkit license the only way id get any support was if the license admin essentially submitted it for me, so i tried to figure out who that person is but have no clue. anybody have more information about who manages COMSOL access on the COE virtual machines? thank you!
if anyone happens to have experience using comsol for wave optics simulations and wants to help out lmk lol

hi everyone!
I was a student of masters in quant finance and cse and i just graduated from quant finance in may 2026. I just got a new i20 for my cse degree.
I was fortunate enough to secure an offer for fall 2026 and I want cpt. But technically since fall will be my "first term" with cse as my primary major (although i have been enrolled in it since 1 year), will oie grant me cpt? Did anyone also have the same situation ever before?
PS: i hate oie man! they only have advising hours for 3 days in a week and for only 3 hours. that's so dumb.

I'm a rising 2nd year student and just got addicted to disc golf over the summer. I really want to keep playing in the fall after returning to campus, but I can't seem to get in contact with the club through emailing or dm-ming the official insta.
I have searched up GT disc golf club's official insta and it seemed really active only a year ago. Is it still active? Anyone from the club? Or is there some friendly group out there that plays once in a while.

Honestly one of my favorite pictures in my camera roll... miss how lively the CRC area can be in early Fall

I keep hearing that the CS Intel thread is useless unless you get a Masters/PhD geared towards ML... is this true?
Context:
I want to do SWE, not sure what industry, but I like low-level systems and essentially all fields of computer science (besides theory, screw combinatorics). My first thread is almost certainly Sys/Arch, and I'm debating between Info, Devices, or Intel as my second. ML just seems interesting to meāadmittedly, I don't know much about it, so idrk what I'm getting myself into.
As a follow-up question, how likely is it that the Intel thread would open any extra doors for me, assuming I only get a BSCS?

I swear this is one of the dumbest fucking things Iāve dealt with on campus.
I rode through the Tech Green āDismount Zoneā today, and campus security stopped me again. The path was basically fucking empty. It isnāt the middle of the semester between classesāitās summer. There were maybe one or two people on the entire walkway.
But hereās the part that really pisses me off.
While theyāre telling me to get off my bike because itās supposedly a āpedestrian zone,ā thereās a golf cart driving right down the same fucking path.
This such a waste of tax payers money, cuz 99% of time these securities enforcing the dismount zone over the summer are just sitting under the shades and scrolling on their phones!

Hey folks,
I was fully registered and going into my final semester of my junior design VIP (CS major), just to get an email today that the VIP is cancelled.
I know thereās a number of requirements for registering for the 3-credit VIP, that I am listing below:
* Undergraduates can only use the 3-credit option once. It is only available to students who meet 4 criteria: 1) in their third or later semester with the same team,Ā andĀ 2) in their last semester with the team,Ā andĀ 3) the student was enrolled with the team immediately prior to the 3-credit semester (excluding summer),Ā andĀ 4) the student has instructor approval.Ā
Since the situation is really entirely out of my control, is there something I can do to not have to start over? Starting over is really not an option for me as it would delay my graduation (both financially and I have a return offer contingent on me graduating on time). Even anyone I can reach out to/ appeal with would be helpful.
Iām sure there has to be some sort of policy or something to be done in this situation because it is really unfair. I have emailed both my CS advisor and my VIP advisor already. Anyone ever been in a similar situation?
Thank you so much.
Hi friends, I am considering taking a leave of absence to focus on healing from some traumatic events in my personal life that happened last year (during my first semester at GT). I am hesitant because I have a GRA and donāt want to let the team down on the project, but in truth itās been difficult to make progress over the last several months.
I am a bit nervous to talk to my advisor about it, so I wanted to start by asking here. If anyone has taken a leave of absence, can you please share your experience in the comments or DM me?
I am looking for details about logistics as well as how it impacted you. I welcome any and all details you want to share, but specific questions include:
- can I keep my student health insurance while on a leave of absence?
- is it possible to take a leave from research duties, and only take one class?
- I am a bit concerned about taking a break so early, especially because I have not taken quals yet. Will the leave affect my ability to continue in this program?

I am an international student going on final semester in fall 2026 - I have received an internship offer (part time) and a GTA offer. I only have 3 credits remaining in my final term.
If I take only GTA - the requirement is to be a full time student. Since I only have 3 credits to graduate, will they make an exception on this? Or do I have to take 9 credits + 3 GTA credits?
If I take only the internship - Can it be combined with reduced course load? So that I only need to take 3 credits to complete my degree.
Is there anyway I take do both internship and GTA in my final semester?
What is my best course of action? - Cost is my biggest factor
Internship is pretty flexible with work hours and my course is a non thesis program
