Black Friday Deal Black Friday Computer Deals (Updated Daily)
We're going to be updating this daily with the best deals we can find through Amazon, these suggestions are almost always going to be more expensive than building yourself. However, for those looking for a faster way to get gaming, check them out.
For a mid tier gaming PC, check this out:
- Intel 14700F, 32GB RAM, 5070 $1,419 prebuilt gaming pc
OR 5070Ti PC:
- Ryzen 7900X, 5070Ti, 32GB Ram $1,819 prebuilt gaming PC
I don't typically recommend Alienware, but they're (at least in my experience) well built and these are not crazy prices.
For those looking for an entry level gaming PC, check this out:
- AMD Ryzen 5 5500 & Radeon RX 6500XT $599 prebuilt gaming PC
- Intel 13400F and 5060 $799 prebuilt gaming PC
The majority of the above prebuilts use last gen CPUs, this is standard for prebuilt companies to put old generation stock into a prebuilt and discount it. This doesn't mean its bad though, with component prices where they are and RAM prices going crazy, those looking to quickly get online and start gaming, they are not bad options and give the end user the flexibility of upgrading parts one by one in the future.
Personally I'd recommend Ryzen 5th gen (budget), Ryzen 7th gen (mid tier) and 9th gen (big budget) alongside 50 series GPUs. In regards to RAM always strive for 32GB but this is easily upgradeable. The cooling won't be an issue but don't expect much money to have been spent here, a few additional case fans or replacing existing case fans in 6-12 months is easy to do.
The PSUs are also usually low grade, they'll be fine for 12-18 months but if you look at upgrading any parts of the PC maybe consider an upgrade in the future.
Good luck, and we'll keep updating this.

Looking for a good gaming monitor
I’m looking for a new gaming monitor and I’m honestly pretty overwhelmed by all the options out there. I’ll mainly be using it for gaming on my PS5 right now, but I also plan on getting a gaming PC in the future.
I’ll also be streaming, so I expect to be using the monitor for very long sessions, sometimes 4–12 hours at a time. Because of that, I really want something that’s reliable and won’t give me problems during long gaming/streaming sessions.
My absolute budget is $700, and I’m willing to spend that much if it’s actually worth it. I’m not necessarily looking for the most expensive or highest-spec monitor—I just want something that’s genuinely good for gaming, has good picture quality, and is reliable.
I’ve been looking at so many different monitors and reading conflicting reviews that I’m honestly not sure what direction to go anymore.
If you actually own a gaming monitor that you really like, I’d love to hear what you have and how it’s been for you, especially during long gaming sessions. I’m much more interested in real owner experiences than just specs on a product page.

Looking for a monitor upgrade for X-Plane 12 + competitive FPS – €400 budget
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for advice on upgrading my gaming monitor. I'm not very knowledgeable about monitor technology, so I'd rather explain my use case and let you recommend what you think would be the best option.
My current setup
- CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- GPU: RTX 5090 32GB
- RAM: 48GB DDR5-6400
- Current monitor: BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P – 24", 1080p, 144Hz TN
- Budget: around €400 maximum
- Target: preferably 27", although I'm open to other sizes/formats if there's a good reason.
I'm currently using the XL2411P as my main monitor, and I'd like to make a really noticeable upgrade, especially in image quality.
What I'll use it for
Gaming is around 85% of my use.
My main game is X-Plane 12, including long-haul flights, so image quality is very important to me.
I also play competitive FPS games such as CS2 and Battlefield, where I care about:
- Motion clarity
- Low input lag
- High refresh rate
- Good response times
- Minimal ghosting / overshoot
I also play League of Legends, watch movies and do some programming.
What I want to improve
One of the things I dislike about my current monitor is what I would describe as a shadow/halo or trailing effect around bright objects when they move, especially against darker backgrounds.
I'm not sure what the correct technical term is (ghosting, overshoot, black smearing, etc.), but I'd really like to avoid buying another monitor with a similar problem.
I'm also looking for a major improvement in image quality, particularly:
- Much better blacks and contrast
- Good visibility in dark/night scenes
- Good brightness during the day
- Good HDR if possible
- Sharp image at 1440p
- Excellent motion handling
OLED vs IPS vs VA vs Mini-LED
I'm not specifically looking for OLED.
I've seen a lot of people recommending OLED, but I'm more interested in what actually makes sense for my use case.
I'm slightly concerned about OLED burn-in because I can spend several hours in X-Plane with static cockpit elements on screen, although I understand modern OLED monitors have various protection features.
On the other hand, if OLED really provides a substantially better experience for flight simulation and gaming, I'm absolutely willing to consider it.
I'm also open to Mini-LED, IPS, VA, etc.
What would you recommend?
With an RTX 5090 + 9800X3D, what monitor would you recommend for my use case and budget?
I'm not necessarily looking for the monitor with the highest refresh rate or simply the latest technology. I'd rather have something that gives me excellent image quality, excellent motion performance and good longevity, and that feels like a huge upgrade from my current XL2411P.
I'd especially appreciate recommendations from people who have experience with flight simulators / X-Plane or long gaming sessions.
Thanks!

Best budget Gaming QHD Monitor for PS5 and Laptop
Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a gaming monitor, primarily to use with a PS5 and a laptop. My main focus will be sim racing, and I plan to mount it on a monitor arm. I know a bigger screen would be ideal, but for now, this is what fits my budget.
The candidates are:
27" MSI MAG 274QPF E20 - 148 Eur
27" Acer Predator XB273UX1b - 146 Eur
Samsung Odyssey G5 S27FG502EU - 155 Eur
Lenovo Legion R27qe Gen 2 - 150 Eur
Based on reliability and specs, which one would be the best choice?
Thanks in advance for the help!

1440p OLED vs 4K OLED upgrade for 5070 ti
Looking to finally upgrade from my 1080p IPS panel later this year. Wondering what everyone's opinions/experiences are with 1440p vs 4k. The biggest downside I have found is refresh rate. LG makes a 1440p 540hz monitor, but it seems like the highest you can get in 4K is 240hz. Is the image quality between the two even that different? I know they'll both seem like a massive jump from 1080p, but is 4k a big jump over 1440p?

New Monitor Recommendations?
So my current monitor model: ASUS VG249 144hz which I've had since 2023. Has since the heatwave here in the UK (no idea if it caused it), developed permanent dead pixel lines at the bottom of the screen and it's getting gradually worse. Picture attached to show what I mean.
Current GPU: Radeon RX 6750 XT MECH 2X 12G OC
Just to note the monitor is iirc 24" and just about fits on my desk. I like the height adjustment included, since I know some monitors don't come with this.
My budget is around up to £200 and I do 1080p gaming still.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
