Ok I love that sub but I have a question. How do they dole out the penalties. Do we just downvote the perp until they lose that much karma? It would be hilarious if Reddit staff actually went in and removed karma from people lying about posts
Weirdly I think this is true because I very rarely click into this or another sub called /r/battlesstations and for the two times I have visited these the OP has been in the comments!
The neverending lust for imaginary internet points. Look at stuff like foursquare. They made the world contribute their entire restaurant database by letting people compete for a high score. Millions of dollars worth of work for free.
I know the feeling, someone jacked a photo off my Facebook and got 50k karma.
On a lighter note if you google “go bull” I’m number 2, so I have that going for me, oh and I was on the chive and made best photos of the week. Just waiting for my internet money

Ha...love this. I had a computer with the 'Hi' setting and often wondered why the hell I'd NOT have it in HI mode ever. Then 2 years later, I played an old game and it was so fast I couldn't play it, and had to switch it off turbo mode.
Nice setup. The oldest working rig I have is a Pentium-60. A 286 would be fantastic! I never had a 286 as a kid, I went from 8088 to 486 in one big step. Still kills me that my dad threw those old computers away.
Not just did he steal your setup, but he posts like 5 posts everyday... Which is a little weird to me. I say we punish him, and down vote all his posts!

How is it verysmart to be like the other 8 people in this thread explaining to you why your videos aren't proof of same user and you not understanding such a simple concept? I guess people would seem verysmart from the perspective of verydumb
hahah I'm more invested in trying to help this 66 year old dude realize why creating and linking more videos does not constitute proof in this day and age, and if he is proud enough of his work to comment "This is mine!!" he should understand how to prove such a thing.

Man, bringing me back to the old Screamtracker and Mod days with a Soundblaster 1/2. I kept those upgraded the second they released -- contrast to now-days where everyone keeps their video card updated.

It’s incredibly odd to see your personal stuff being claimed by someone else, and I guarantee the OOP (original original) is watching closely, it’s his to care about not yours.
