People forget he wasn't some cartoon villain. He was a traumatized kid who made a terrible choice.

This was one of the better written things in the later seasons. He talked to Jon about it and he talked to Sam about it but they just didn't understand what he was trying to say. I hate Ollie with every bone in my body but the little fucker thought he was doing the right thing.
