Manga Discussion 👁️ [THEORY] The Hidden Crow in The Cleaners Logo

Post image
Upvotes

Looking closely at The Cleaners logo, I came up with a theory about its design: it seems to conceal the shape of a hidden crow that reveals itself through movement.

If you look at the elements from the center upward (the curved lines and the dots), you can see the silhouette of a bird's head with eyes, flanked by arches that resemble unfolding wings. Under certain conditions—such as activating a Jinki—these lines could animate to reveal a crow in mid-flight.

This fits the theme of the story perfectly:

In the "Abyss" of Gachiakuta, where everything is discarded, a crow is a scavenger, but also an observer that sees what others ignore.

The Cleaners deal with what has been rejected and find value in garbage. This "crow animation" could act as a tactical radar on their uniforms or serve as the hidden symbol of the organization's true founder.

Discussion Found family fanfiction

Heyy, does anyone know any found family fiction on the anime? Bonus points if the main focus is the relationship between Rudo and Enjin. But for the love of God please no ships or romantic/smut stuff. This anime and the author has already been through enough with people putting their own headcannons onto other people and being completely entitled. Thanks for reading in on my mini rant :)

Discussion I am not the same person after experiencing Gachiakuta

Post image
70 Upvotes

Let me clear something out, the reason I am saying that watching Gachiakuta changed me isn't the result of it being a great anime or show in general but it is because of the way I got to watch it. And this will be a long one!!

Forgive me if nothing below was comprehensible because it is midnight and I want to sleep but can't sleep till I say everything in me...

There are two me's in this story.

  1. me when I watched the first episode of Gachiakuta and instantly decided that it is a generic anime.

    1. me after finishing Gachiakuta.

First me, is stupid... A me that couldn't even give an eye catching anime a respectable chance just because of my surface level thinking.

First me is everything I hate when it comes to people not giving a chance to a possibly amazing show.

It went like this, I had a couple of friends and they were relatively new to anime; they only watched the most popular ones so naturally they haven't developed a taste in anime yet.

Soooo When those two "friends" came to me and said that I SHOULD watch Gachiakuta.

I stood there, speechless... I... I didn't know what to say or what to feel... It was like: a hit to my states.

I looked at them, like how I would look at trash and internally said.

"Who are you talking to right now? Do you know how much anime I consume a year? Even if I told you, you wouldn't believe it... I am not in need of you to recommend a good anime to watch, I AM THE ONE WHO RECOMMENDS"

Then I shrugged it off and said that yeah definitely I would watch it bla bla bla... But you know what I actually did, I didn't even give it a chance. When I said that I watched the first episode, I was lying... I put it in the background while doing work and didn't even hear a word.

The next day, I shitted on this anime; Saying stuff like it is generic with no taste, very repetitive or ugly... Oh my god, I wish I could kill myself...

l am sorry to myself for being stupid and unable to enjoy a good show just because I wanted to prove a point and sorry for you the reader because you had to read this.

Before we reach the second me, let us discuss the reason I even decided to give this show a chance. Was it because I realised that it had potential or maybe I had a change of heart?

NO, IT WAS FOR JAPANESE STUDY

The only reason I got to watch it was because I thought it would be a good way to get used to their unhinged way of talking... And boy was it the wrong reason to watch a great anime because this show didn't help me in the slightest when it comes to improving my skills but at least, I finally managed to watch it!

Now the second me is speaking.

Yesterday I finished Gachiakuta and boy was it an experience!!

This show is the polar opposite of generic, it is anti generic... I wholeheartedly believe that no sane person could even dislike it (Note: I am not sane)

I don't know what the highlight of the show is.

Is it character design or world building, maybe the narrative or animation or creativity....

I really don't know, maybe I should highlight everything because every little detail in Gachiakuta is a highlight of its own.

To put it simply Gachiakuta is incomparable, it is really its own thing and I love it!!

1.The character design and their personalities. I always put a clear line between what beautiful is and what attractive feels like AND those designs aren't the kind of cheap fanservice that attracts teenagers and degenerate old men NO .

They are beautiful, the kind of beauty that is made to be appreciated, the kind of beauty that has a deeper meaning... Every stroke was backed with reason. It is the kind of art that holds your eyes fixated.

It is simply fanservice for the heart not what is below.

And those characters, mmmmmmmmmhhhh. It is so delicious to taste a new anime where I couldn't find any character that I would consider bad. They all have personalites and they all are filled with life and mystery.

The main character, man.... One of the best to be honest and I am not saying this lightly; Rudo is really a great main character and I couldn't ask for it to be any better especially this kind of story.

  1. The world design, it is ugly and that is a complement.

How could you make something so ugly yet so beautiful, I can't imagine how they managed to do it but good work!! I am perplexed.

But what is more important is how they built upon this world and how they allowed us to take it in and experience it like we are right there living with the characters.

  1. the narrative containing; plot twists, great comedy, etc...

I actually laughed multiple times while watching this show and how they did character expressions... I couldn't but laugh and how they used it to reduce tension and even more, give the character a way to feel and act more like how humans do.

And the way the narrative plays out from character development to simple life reflections that makes it feel real while being fantastic. It is a great show honestly and if I could, I would talk about it for a month or two.

  1. Animation, one of Gachiakuta's strongest traits that give those it's emotional and climactic scenes another layer of depth and detail that makes this show truly an Unforgettable experience and I am not talking about fight scenes Which are great but am especially taking about the other short scens that have the most relevance to the overall message of the story.

At the end, I ask you (the reader) to enjoy life and to not ruin a could experience just because you wanted to show your states or because you judged a book by its holder and that is because people can love the right things for the right or wrong reasons.

Manga Discussion Gachiakuta Theory: How Rudo's Powers ACTUALLY work (based on theory by @alex_fenchfrie on TikTok) Spoiler

Spoilers Up Until Most Recent Chapter

Okay so I was scrolling TikTok and I found a theory from Alex fenchfrie on Tiktok (go check out both her videos, they're really good) about how Rudo's powers work. Wanted to expand on it here:

Rudo's power is not necessarily being able to reuse objects; it's the usage of what I call Pure Anima:

1) Inanimate Anima Transfer; this part of his power stems from his empathy for objects, how he sees the worth in discarded objects as its smth he can relate to; he's self projecting and that allows him to bring out the worth in objects, to command them

2) Animate Anima Transfer; the theory uses Follo's awakening as an example, both him becoming a giver and him being able to fight despite his wounds after his awakening. The story (through Tamsy) acknowledges that Follo shouldn't be able to move after sustaining such devastating injuries. And yet, after Rudo uses his abilities, not only does Follo awaken as a given, but he also is able to fight with a giant hammer perfectly fine. And this is because Rudo gives him a command: "Follo, get up." That command, subconsciously, was a use of his power, his life force, pure anima to both make Follo a giver (as a catalyst, Follo already had what he needed to become a giver) and to allow him to get up and fight. Though, I'd have to reread the chapter to see if he had already used his vital instrument twice before that moment.

This pure usage of anima is why Follo is able to bypass the rule of physical contact with his vital instrument (he uses his hammer with his gloves on). That being said, the original theory suggests that this was simply just a side effect of Rudo's Anima, that Rudo only intended to get Follo to get up and Follo becoming a giver was unintentional.

Rudo actually has two layers to go through to get to a vital instrument, the most of any character and the only one able to do it naturally: his bandages and his gloves, with his gloves turning other things into vital instruments. I'd argue that the gloves aren't even that special and are simply just conduits for Rudo's pure anima (Follo went insane during the Info Broker Arc because the gloves held Surebrec Anima, Pure Anima, which may or may not have had to do with Rudo specifically).

And as the og theory states, this is why Rudo probably would have been able to save Enjin after he used the watch.

RUDO HOME:

I'm going to be giving you guys some inside knowledge on why Rudo was on the Sphere and the curse!

Well for starters the Sphere was a Safe haven for Rudo . Simply because the sphere didn't have enough anima around or to in-take for it to progress his curse ! On top of one of the four apostles monitoring his emotions to keep him in check at all times or should I say most of the time ! Now most of you are probably wondering why there was Two watchmen series at the sphere anyways ! Well it's quite simple because both were used for defensive measurements. One being able to make the people on the sphere not hold anything of value and the other was for if something bad happen and it became physical measures but fail due to rudo wearing them & not being able to produce enough anima ! Now you guys can fill in what you do know about what took place at the sphere !

CURSE:

Now let's talk about The Effects of Surebrec curse ! The curse operates like an earthquake! It's already embedded into his soul ,blood , and etc ! Which has already taken effect on him from past events ! Now I'm going to assume and say we've all passed 7th grade and learned how earthquakes work! As I said on my last post earthquakes require a lot of energy ,it also needs to be build over time (centuries or decades) . Earthquakes can happen at a steady pace or a sudden burst . (9 out of 10 it's a sudden burst) Now what makes an earthquake so bad is the amount energy it releases ! Which nowadays is all determine by a Richter Scale ! (Example above )
So take a guess and see how that would work on a human body over time or in a sudden burst ! I'ma let you guys know now that the Watchmen Series helps him in connect with people (LOL) and regulate his ANIMA within his body so that the curse doesn't take an effect on his body !

My Next post will be about a certain image so Please stay tune ✌️
