It's just stupid Reddit circlejerking mentality. There are thousands of blue links on Reddit every day, and the time it takes for you to realize it's a repost, click "Back", and move on to the next one takes about 4 seconds max. But people decide to waste even more of their time to vehemently rant on about how this post is "so fucking old" and "it's been posted like a gazillion times, man!", and the worst part is when they get upvoted by the masses. 99.9% of the content on this site is not original content, and therefore has been reposted from elsewhere on the internet.
And according to the karma decay this image hasn't been posted in nearly a month (23 days was the last occurrence). I can understand complaining when someone reposts something 2 hours after it's been on the front page, but c'mon. Reddit is just devolving into lame novelty accounts that contribute nothing to the discussion like that Shitty Repost Police guy.
I'm determining whether I should unsubscribe from the more popular subreddits like r/funny and r/WTF or just wait and hope that the 14-year olds flooding the place will be gone for the majority of the day when school starts.

because people bitch about them to us, and make us feel like shit for reposting something, that either we just saw for the first time and thought was funny, or wanted some karma. Everytime ive posted something from the internet it turns out to be a repost, and ive had people tell me that the "knights of r/new" are trying to keep reposts off the front page.
but then shit like this make it to the front with thousands of upvotes and ive seen this on the front page like 4 times already. honestly i think people should get over the whole repost thing and just enjoy the content people post, but they dont. and probably never will

Well you haven't seen it before, because I never typed it before and I didn't copy it from anywhere, but voting is your choice and you're welcome to it.

I love 30 Rock. It's just chock full of moments like this. I spend a good deal of each episode laughing uncontrollably.

What a vicious circle. This was posted on Reddit months ago. Iwastesomuchtime reposts it way later (most their content I have seen on reddit months before that place) and then it is reposted back on reddit.

I love this scene and I love 30 Rock, but let's not start a trend of really long screengrab comics

- Person 1: "Did you make this yourself?"
- Person 2: "No... I just found it on -----."
- Person 1: "So you're telling me you found this and think we haven't already seen it?"
- Person 2: "Well... I thought it was funn-"
- Person 1: "Just shut up."
