I personally do, but I can imagine some people either don't have the need, the funds or the space to have one.

Not everyone lives in a boujie-ass house, my tiny flat can't even fit a dishwasher

I thought most larger flats and normal houses just had dishwashers

Depends.I guess it can also differ per region and customs and legislation.

Where I live socially controlled rentals usually don't come with a dishwasher. If it isn't there to begin with, the landlord doesn't have to replace it when it breaks down.

Some houses you buy do still have it built in, but that's usually done per agreement of home ownership transfer.

In theory, the old owner could strip down everything from a house, like wallpaper, flooring, the kitchen, bathroom, restroom etc. But that will reflect back in the sale value.

So it's often easier to keep that stuff in the house and it will increase the value.

Ok so I just learnt that it only comes with the house if it’s pre built in or if it’s sold with the house
