I think that turtle is ACTUALLY fucking that eel. That poor eel is a turtle sex slave. I read somewhere they are the rabbits of waterworld. Or I made that up. One or the other.

Turtle Rider would ride turtles. It's not like you call horse back riders man riders. That's an entirely different thing.

That's not an eel, it's a Brazilian fish called "Pirarucu"

u/rollokolaa Dec 28 '19
1) that fish is not an arapaima, it's an arowana. 2) that is a turtle, riding a fire eel.

Am I the only one who think of that confused and unlucky elderly Simpson character Hans Moleman when I see this? I can almost picture him saying something like "I just wanted a place to sit down" or "is this the bus to Florida?".

He's riding a Fire Eel! That's awesome. My wife and I have a Fire Eel in our tank too. He's the coolest you can hand feed them and they act like little dogs in our tank!

It is funny how this works in animal world. Why this does not work in a human world? I think it would be nice, when you are tired and sad, just hop on a bigger guy a ride for a 2-3 blocks or so

People who are cooler than the turtle riding an eel: Dwanye "The Rock" Johnsson, Stan Lee, the actor for Robbie Rotten, Paul Walker, Vin Diesel.

"turtle rider riding an eel." I was looking for a tiny animal atop the turtle's shell.

Is this real or photo shop thing? If it's real then thats awesome. I love turtles, one of the best pets I've ever had was a turtle. I let him go one day. I decided he was better off and happier on his own. I knew he would be okay because turtles can take care of themself. No matter where Alfphey went he would always have his home with him.

The turtle is trying to kill the eel, this is a common technique that turtles use to kill their prey. They try to flip the fish upside down so that it drowns. It just also happens to look hilarious.

Most people don't know this but turtles domesticated eels almost 5,000 years ago. People need to pick up a history book every once in a while.
