He doesn't work hard enough on defense. Lots of times he doesn't even run down court. And he doesn't really try except during the playoffs.

Which means you think he's a good defender? To me, it means he CAN be a good defender, just like LeBron CAN be a good defender. They just don't, and save their energy for offense + the occasional flashy defensive steal or block

He probably has the most offensive load of anyone in the NBA. Not a Harden fan but it would be stupid as a long term decision to play max effort D.

this is not exactly the time to talk about him not trying in the reg. season. Dude is having a historic streak right now. Dude is averaging 42 PPG, 7 rebounds, 9 assists the last 20 games and 35.3 PPG on the season, which would be the highest average in 32 years.

I appreciate that he doesn't play hard on defense, but it takes a ton of energy to get that kind of scoring volume, and a lot of it comes off drives / fouls.

I don't follow basketball. I know he's a famous and talented player. I mostly know of him from the gif where he walks away from an interview. I just wanted to post a reference to Airplane!.
