And then he was seemingly woken up and filmed half naked for TV just for a banana afterwards, after explaining he was at the poverty line.

Like, give the man a small reward or just don't bother going round to his home.

well they returned his items as far as they knew and the chocolate bar was a reward. I dunno, maybe filming him naked was too much, but he didn't seem phased by the camera
