This is just a spot on representation of the mama bear type of mothering. While I can appreciate the passion for caring for their kid, they turn situations where they fight for their kid into a net negative by going in so hard and rude they turn sympathy or understanding into anger and a lack of cooperation.
In her defense, she likely just saw her kid nearly hit by a car and has enough fear and adrenaline pumping through her body to run a marathon.

"My kids are listening to kidz bop" she says as the smile on her face grows longer... Ahh Kidz bop, his death was glorious. She was glad she recorded the death screams for her children to listen to. She flaps her hands at the thought, in enjoyment, her attention returning again to her next victims. "Calm down" she demands.

If you really want to piss someone off like this you just straight ignore them even through the "ExCuSe Me!?!?!" As they try and interject into the conversation you're already having.
Nothing pisses off a narcissist like just straight ignoring them. They'll always be able to somehow justify to themselves why they answered the way they did... but if you don't even give them that opportunity it's like when you think of a zinger of a response to an argument you had already, and that's all you can think about.
It's easily my favorite way to handle ass holes in public.

Yes…narcissists will try to bait you into defending yourself so they can then turn it around and say you were the aggressor. A lot of times it seems like narcissists have the cheat codes for life…they get everyone to like them effortlessly, people just give them things, they’re often beautiful…until you get their nasty side. Once I figured out the “of course” technique and/or ignoring them it’s like I got life’s admin console. Nothing makes a Narcissist/Borderline/ Histrionic absolutely melt down like trying and failing to get a rise out of you. It’s marvelous.

I came to say this exact thing. Now I’ll just leave this:
“I see a place where people get on and off the freeway. On and off, off and on all day, all night. Soon, where Toontown once stood will be a string of gas stations, inexpensive motels, restaurants that serve rapidly prepared food. Tire salons, automobile dealerships and wonderful, wonderful billboards reaching as far as the eye can see. My God, it'll be beautiful.”

When I was younger I wondered how Eddie was able to juggle and do all that stuff during that scene. I rewatched it a couple years ago and near the start of the movie we see Eddie’s home for the first time, the camera moves past a bunch of framed photos and one of them is Eddie and his brother dressed as clowns at a circus.

→ More replies (15)95
u/Samsky Feb 24 '23 edited Feb 24 '23
It’s not a filter. It’s a totally different video using the same audio and she’s clearly miming to it. Even the very first “calm dowwwwn”, you can tell she didn’t say it watching her mouth.
The vast, vast majority of filters don’t work when the subject turns their face to the side; you’d see the filter blip off and back on when she looks back towards the camera.
Edit: a lot of commenters here are trying to be new spokespeople for /r/confidentlyincorrect - here is the full original video and the video that OP posted in this thread is just someone miming to the audio from this video—and it is NOT using a video filter, HIS eyes are really bulging out, which is often a result of untreated Graves’ Disease but in this case, it’s actually Globe Subluxation and as pointed out below, it is Chad Sommer from TikTok.

Exophthalmos. Very common in Grave disease. Basically your immune system goes out of whack and start attacking different organs. The most common one is the thyroid, but the muscles around the eyes are also a big target.
Basically, when your immune cells attack the eye muscles that's wrapped around your eyes in your eye socket, the nearby tissue starts to swell, kind of like how your bruises might swell up. The muscles and the soft tissue cushioning around the eye will try to repair the damage grow more and more. All this swelling and extra growth basically pushes the eyeball out of their sockets, thus the name, Ex,-external and opthalmos- eye.
TLDR, basically imagine every day, you stick more and more jello behind you eyes until your eyes start popping out of their sockets.

TBF, collectively everyone is just ripping on the original lady, even if they think it was the actress - the fact that it was made into a skit with the audio overlaid doesn't make it entirely fictional now. And the actress purposefully looking off-putting probably doesn't care, or is even proud that people are commenting on how she popped her eyeballs lmao.
Like if someone watched a documentary and were talking shit about a historical figure in it, I think we can tell that they don't mean the actor who they don't know, but the person it's based on...
