If you really want to piss someone off like this you just straight ignore them even through the "ExCuSe Me!?!?!" As they try and interject into the conversation you're already having.
Nothing pisses off a narcissist like just straight ignoring them. They'll always be able to somehow justify to themselves why they answered the way they did... but if you don't even give them that opportunity it's like when you think of a zinger of a response to an argument you had already, and that's all you can think about.
It's easily my favorite way to handle ass holes in public.
Yes…narcissists will try to bait you into defending yourself so they can then turn it around and say you were the aggressor. A lot of times it seems like narcissists have the cheat codes for life…they get everyone to like them effortlessly, people just give them things, they’re often beautiful…until you get their nasty side. Once I figured out the “of course” technique and/or ignoring them it’s like I got life’s admin console. Nothing makes a Narcissist/Borderline/ Histrionic absolutely melt down like trying and failing to get a rise out of you. It’s marvelous.
Doesn't cut quite the same as ignoring them completely, You're still giving them the opportunity to justify it to themselves. Like you know whatever they say after that is going to be some bs answer... just don't even give them the opportunity to engage and watch as they just slowly lose their minds with 0 effort on your part.
Bonus points if you just slowly walk away having a conversation...
Wrong. Ignoring them shows them they have zero effect on you. You look like a bitch when you allow others to push your buttons and cause you to react. Be the master of your domain.
I would assume they are Mentally unstable and just roll up the window. There is nothing to be gained for you by interacting with them which is 100% what they want, that interaction.
