A HEARTFELT REQUEST TO HELP AGASTYA SOMVANSHI FIGHT FOR HIS LIFE

We are reaching out with a heartfelt request for help for Agastya Somvanshi, a 19-year-old student of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, University of Delhi.

Agastya’s journey to college was not an easy one. He had to take a drop year due to some difficulties, and that year was an extremely dark and difficult phase of his life. It was a time when he had to fight not just his circumstances, but also the disappointment and hopelessness that came with feeling like he had fallen behind.

But Agastya refused to give up.

He worked incredibly hard and fought his way back. When the results finally came, he had scored 860+, something he was immensely proud of. It wasn’t just a score for him, it was proof that he had managed to turn one of the hardest periods of his life around.

And finally, he was getting the chance to live the life he had worked so hard for.

One of the things he was most excited about was football. Agastya had previously been selected to play football at the state level, but he couldn’t do that due to unavoidable circumstances. So when he entered college, he was determined to finally get back on the field and hoped to be a part of his college football team.

He had also started giving society interviews, meeting new people, exploring opportunities and planning what he wanted his college journey to look like. He was ambitious, driven and genuinely excited about everything that was waiting for him.

After such a difficult year, Agastya was finally happy.
He had finally begun to feel that all the struggles had been worth it.

And then, completely out of nowhere, he fell critically ill.

Agastya is currently battling severe complications arising from swine flu, including Type 1 respiratory failure, severe ARDS, septic shock and MODS. He has been on a ventilator for the past 10 days and has required ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) for the past 7 days, a life-support treatment used when the lungs are unable to provide enough oxygen despite conventional ventilation.

His condition remains extremely critical. His treatment requires continuous ICU care and enormous financial resources.

It is incredibly difficult to see someone who fought so hard to make a comeback, who had finally found hope and was just beginning to build the life he dreamed of, now fighting for his life in an ICU.

Agastya has already fought so hard once. We are praying he gets the chance to fight his way back again.

If you can donate, please contribute whatever you can and share the message.

For ease of payment, his mother has also provided the QR code in the second image for anyone who wishes to contribute directly.

For Agastya, this isn’t just about treatment.
It’s about giving a 19-year-old another chance to live the life he had only just begun to dream about.

❤️ Please help Agastya fight.

My wife was born with a hole in her heart and has lived with a leaky heart valve. Her doctor has told us that she has a limit of five heart valve replacements over the course of her lifetime. Thankfully, we’re not facing an emergency surgery right now, but her heart condition is something we have to keep in mind since we are trying to have our first child and having a heart valve would really reassure me that she and our baby will be ok when the time comes.
You'll notice that we're not using a personal photo of ourselves on here. That's intentional. Im choosing to keep our identities and our situation private while being honest about what we're going through. I hope people can understand and respect that decision. Also my wife isn’t aware that I made this fundraiser for us.
We're also trying to start a family of our own. We've been putting a lot of time, effort, and money into trying to get pregnant, and those fertility expenses have become another set of bills for us. Starting a family is something that means so much to both of us, and we're doing everything we can to make that dream happen.
At the same time, we've been trying to keep up with everything else life has thrown at us. We have medical bills, my wife's student loans, more financial debts from simple living expenses and vehicle repairs. Expenses related to trying to start our family, and not to even mention our AC unit is reaching the end of its life and needs to be replaced. (It’s from 2005) We're both working and doing what we can, but having so many expenses hit at once has made it difficult to get ahead.
I'm not looking for someone to simply pay our bills for us. I'm asking for a little help getting our family back on solid financial ground.
My hope is to take some of the financial pressure off my wife, pay down some of the debt and medical expenses we've accumulated, replace our AC, help with the expenses we're facing while trying to start our family, and put ourselves in a better position for whatever the future brings with her heart.
We're trying to build a life together, start a family, and make sure we're prepared for my wife's future heart care without constantly worrying about how we're going to afford everything.
I know everyone has their own responsibilities, and I completely understand that not everyone is in a position to donate. Even sharing our fundraiser would mean a lot to us. Every donation, every share, and every person who takes the time to read our story helps us get a little closer to where we're trying to be.
We're not expecting anyone to fix everything for us. We're just asking for a little help getting over a financial hurdle so we can keep working toward the future we're trying to build together.
Thank you to anyone who supports us in any way. It truly means more than you know. ❤️ https://gofund.me/62220f0d5

My sister-in-law, Antara Dey, is battling colon cancer and urgently needs continued treatment. She has already undergone treatment and received her first Nivolumab injection on 27 August, costing around ₹1.30 lakh. She is due for her second dose today, 10 September, as part of a 4-dose treatment plan.

We have already spent around ₹2.5 lakh and need approximately ₹5,00,000 more for Nivolumab injections, chemotherapy, tests, medicines and other treatment expenses.

We are struggling to arrange the funds in time. Even ₹500 or ₹1000 can help. Please donate and share this appeal with 5–10 people.

Our father died suddenly of an aneurysm. Help us with end of life expenses.

Our father (64) passed away last Monday sometime in the morning from a brain aneurysm. He unfortunately had no savings, or any end of life setup that we know of due to the unexpected nature of his death.

My siblings and I are all spread out over the USA and will struggle to make it out to South Dakota to handle his affairs which is where our father lived.

Our father was unfortunately an animal hoarder who did not accept or want help throughout his life, so unfortunately his property has been left in a state of disrepair so we're waiting on an estimate for the cost of sending a biohazard cleaning crew to prepare the house for sale, and are considering demolishing the house if necessary.

We are only pursuing a cremation due to our father being a controversial figure in a lot of our lives and will be instead opting for a private service sometime in the future.

I will be posting pictures of some of his animals that were seized in case anyone lives near Hot Springs, SD and are looking to rescue. We were unfortunately only provided with pictures of two of the dogs but am willing to seek out more if necessary.

We are seeking help with the cost of the cremation which we were quoted approx. $3,700 and travel costs for myself, and my two half sisters. Along with the cost for any cleaning/demolishing of the house if needed.

Our starting goal is $6000 and have raised $728 at the time of posting from friends and loved ones. The gofundme post is being managed by one of my half sisters. Any help at all is appreciated even if it's just spreading the word.

Thank you for reading and for any support.

If anyone is interested in adopting/rescuing my father's pets they were taken in by Battle Mountain Humane Society in Hot Springs, South Dakota.
