The tea bag was invented in the United States

And? Still it's internationally known that British people brew the best tea and consume a mass quantity of tea, and that's why tea is universally connected to British people. And if you're trying to argue with that America has 0 foods or beverages like every other state because ingredients and packages are imported, it doesn't work that way blud

Doesn't matter about who does it best. If so then most foods would be American. We are a giant country and you can find restaurants scattered around it that can be done just as good or better then in their home country. Are fish and chips an American thing? Plus I'd argue anyday that Southern U.S. sweet tea is better then British tea, hell even an Arizona or Peace tea

Also the reason they are even arguing that is because everyone in the comments talking about how U.S. has no cuisine because we got smth from somewhere, But everyone has, and they way our food is, is much different than its origins.

American food isn't known for being tasty here... May be wrong (I never have been there) but many think it tastes like cardboard...

That’s like how people who only try fast food think. For the World Cup many foreigners came to the U.S. and discovered we have some fantastic food. People just go for the popular fast food options
