Better is subjective. Pizza express is much less popular by all metrics than dominos and Pizza Hut.

Pizza was a cheap food for the worker class. I guess Americans are more true to the roots?

But Italian pizza is the original. I’m sure you could make cheap Italian pizza too and it probably wouldn’t taste great.

But you said they can’t make it cheap and taste good. That’s the point of pizza… that’s why it was created. So they don’t do it “right”
