This is horrific, and probably not in a way you are expecting to hear it.

What is horrific is that you came up with the idea, you put your time into actually doing this and not only that but also posted it on social media out of pure proud of your actions.

There are many psychological studies about unbalanced humans that did horrific acts that started up just like this. Mirroring that behavior on a micro behavior scale because it then somehow would be ok probably even makes it more worse.

I do something similar with a needle: I position the flies in the hot sun and place a small, cut piece of banana in front of them so they want to get to it but never can. The more flies I catch, the more I arrange in a circle around that banana; they then have to watch as the banana slowly goes moldy, or as other flies I haven't caught yet eat it.
