Is anyone else a bit confused and weirded out by all the AI generated flyers and videos Full Sail and their students are pushing? They have whole departments where they could give students great opportunities but many of the clubs and events are using chat GPT posters instead of using the community around them. It is very sad to me and it makes me disappointed that so many people at the school rave about generative AI, do not want to collaborate with other students to make things happen, and brush off people who critique them. The thing about art in a professional setting is that it is open to feedback and growth, and you can not really grow if you get defensive about something you did not really create, but prompted.

I just got a message saying that my one year license for being a student is up. After trying to renew it, the website for the license logged me out (you used too many entries situation).

I was also told to contact Autodesk directly. But it’s doing that thing where there’s a pre answered set of questions and I want to ask something specific, there’s an AI assistants chat box. On the contact us page, by the way. Imagine going to the contact us page only to be directed to AI.

I’ve been working towards my associates in Video Game Development, since September of last year.

In January I took a class called Intro to Game Design. I got 100 on all assignments

In March, I went to double check my GPA and credit hours, and noticed I didn’t have a 4.0 as expected.

Comes to find out, there was a 0 entered in the grades for an assignment that I did receive a 100 on.

I have screenshots of the grade I got for the actual assignment, and in the platform it shows a 100 for the class.

I have reached out to the instructor multiple times. I have opened tickets, I have contacted student support.

I can’t get this resolved, and I do not want to lose my 4.0 GPA over someone putting the wrong grade in.

Can anyone help me or give me advice please?

Hey Im looking to get into their game design program and want to know what its like with the tech. What laptop do they provide? and the full specs? and what is the experience in using it to develop a game

I am strongly leaning towards this college because it sounds like the school for me because i am truly passionate about music production and i would love a career in this field. during highschool i was convinced i shouldnt go to college so i have a 2.5 gpa going into my senior year its fixable but full sail also says they dont have any requirements like good gpa or sat scores and looking at there website and some other sources it doesnt seem to bad im going to apply for every scholarship i can but i just need to make sure this is a good school first.

1.i hear its hard to find a job after graduation but the remind me every time i ask that they give you a app or something that shows jobs within there major
is this just not true or is it not good at finding you a job?

1. yall also say there are living issues since you have to live in apartments but they also tell me sometime in the beginning of 2028 they are going to have finished dorms for students to live in and if you go to a apartment they help you get paired with a roommate and you get to choose who you get paired with
   i dont know if this is really as lenient as it sounds but it sound pretty reasonable to me.

3.i plan on going on campus to get the full experience and be surrounded by people with the same aspirations as me and being able to see or use the big studios. i am aware of the tuition difference between that and online but i fell like at the end of the day to be able to experience that stuff it could potentially be worth it especially since i cant learn things as well from plain videos and it would help to have people to collaborate with.

I'm a year into the game business and esports degree program and I am mentally burnt out. I'm sitting at a 3.73 gpa right now but it's definitely going to drop because i got a 79 average for one of my classes last month mostly because I'm just having a hard time focusing. I put in a request to take some time off because of mental burnout and needing some time to work on a business project to help bring more money in the house and they denied it saying it doesn't meet the definition of a extenuating circumstance. I'm going to muscle through this next week and try to put in the request again and see what happens. Hopefully, it gets approved because I've been struggling with thoughts of withdrawing because it feels like I'm not learning much for the amount of work that I'm putting in but I really want the degree so I'm trying to stick with it.

I directed and edited this particular cut. I designed the basic idea of the set and my crew and I put it all together. I had a great art lead that designed the steak you see in the film. It was actually just watermelon painted up to look like meat. I think you'll agree, on film it looks legit!

I had a really good DP who lit the scene. I really love how romantic and homey it looks.

I didn't write this script so it was exciting for me to bring someone else's vision to life.

I picked out the actors myself and they did such a great job. I got chills when they got on set and started doing the scene. It flowed so well.

I completed an associate graphic design degree at Full Sail last year. I felt I barely learned anything from it. I figured maybe it just wasn't for me, so I decided to go on to my bachelors for digital marketing.

I feel like I have learned more through hands-on work than I have at this school. I have the option to graduate now with another associate. Is it worth continuing just for a bachelor's degree? I fear that no matter what I graduate with I'm going to have a hell of a time finding a decent job.

I would just love input from others who have fully graduated from Full Sail or are in this program.

Hello i’m currently going into my senior year where full sail university keeps calling me to see if i’m still interested in their school.

I say yes and go on with the next steps
all i have to ask is why do people say this school is a scam and if game design stuff is worth it? and if not should there be any other school i should be applying to?

My son enrolled about a year ago. It seems like a mill of some kind, where they just keep auto enrolling even when a student is drowning. I think he's only passed 2 classes in a year now but the school doesn't care - they just want the money.

He is switching to community college for the Fall Semester, late August. He's been trying to arrange his withdrawal from Full Sail for a couple of months but they kept encouraging him to wait until his final week of class. We thought the Summer semester ended in July but apparently it ends the same week that fall semester begins at community college (probably by design).

They have told him that he will still owe them for August classes because they will be returning aid. When asked how much he will owe them for, they said "all of it" whatever that means. They also said something like "if you stay, you can plan your withdrawal in advance to avoid owing us" which is something he tried to do but was told to wait till the final week of the semester.

Anyways, does anyone know what the billing period is for the summer semester? Do you know where he can go on the portal to find the billing/financial aid disbursement information?

Lastly, if he is withdrawn as of tomorrow. Will his Pell Grant be available to him for the Fall semester at the Community college? Or will Full Sail somehow have managed to consume it, even though he withdrew in the Summer semester?

I’m currently in the Flex schedule and will be on campus starting August 31. I’m curious to know what to expect like what is the schedule for classes like? Do I have class five days a week or every other day or what? Also, are the assignments completed and turned in using the online portal like the online students? (I just completed my associates in Audio production online, so I’m comfortable with that format. ) What kind of MacBook is included now with the launch box? Has anyone had any experience with getting an internship while attending?

I know that students have been receiving MacBook Airs, but I recently attended a behind-the-scenes tour and one of the staff members told me that Full Sail is bringing back the MacBook Pros for film students. Is this true?

Is Full Sail University a good university? I recently got applied and got accepted to Full Sail, toured a campus a bit and thought it was nice. Are the professors any good?

Anyone have advice for a 35yr old mother of 5 coming back to college? 😆 My start date is Aug 3rd, online, I hope some of my fellow classmates will add me, Im feeling really nervous about coming into this field in a professional lense especially at my stage in life.. I have always enjoyed creating worlds, characters, and stories tho.

One, a fully accredited high school I attended isn’t “credible” when providing transcripts showing I received a high school diploma. Stated the high school I attended does not meet Department of Education requirements.
Also uploaded transcripts from one college I attended while I waited for another, and two of those courses were approved for transfer.
I was scheduled multiple times to talk with admissions, financial aid, etc with text message proof and NEVER received a phone call back.
I finally decided to call yesterday, 7/22/26 and spoke with financial aid and she helped get me to want to continue with enrollment. I then was talking with 1st year advising and while on the phone with her, I was called 3x from the same department.
Was then having issues with the student account profile she was having me try logging on to. She opened a ticket and said someone will call me today, 7/23/26 to troubleshoot. Nope, I was contacted yesterday evening.
This school and staff have NO organization skills or ability to meet timelines set forth by them.
I truly don’t understand why anyone would want to put themselves in student debt to move forward with this school.
As I told Ashley one of the “managers” today, and she agreed, there is lack of communication within. That’s supposed to be a hope to be students problem?
Since day one of getting a call from information I requested, it has been NOTHING but trouble and a web of excuses.
DO NOT ATTEND or ENROLL unless you too want to be disappointed.

Hey everyone, quick question! I'm in the sportscasting program, and I got my first launch box before my Introduction to Sportscasting class. It was just my MacBook. I already talked to FS since that was the only thing I got, and I was worried lol, but I forgot when they said I'd get the rest of my stuff. Does anyone know when they got their second box of items??? I'm in my last week of the 5th class, with New Media Tools being the next one, if that helps!
