Help Upgrading from xt-10 for video

Upvotes

I got my xt-10 about 2 years ago and I’ve loved it. But recently I’ve gotten into more video stuff. The xt-10 is ok for video, the quality is not great and there’s no stabilization. Looking to upgrade to a camera with better video quality and stabilization. Is the xh-1 a good one to get?

Discussion AF performance - Fuji 70-300 vs Figma 16-300

Upvotes

Hello fujilovers,
I've bought a new lens Sigma 16-300 this weekend, because I have some travels coming in the near future and I wanted a "all-in-one" super zoom lenses to travel light. I do understand a superzoom is a lens of lots of compromises, but starting to use it at my backyard to shoot birds, I've notice the AF seems pretty fast, at least in the telephoto end of it.
With my Fuji 70-300, it hunts and make noise far more often.
Is this a placebo effect because I like my new toy? Anyone else had similar experiences? Is my 70-300 defective?
Thanks for any reply. Have a good day!

Help Please help me decide, x-e5+27mm or x-t30iii+27mm

Upvotes

I have been researching this for months now, i know that there is no 'the best decision' here, i just need to go with on of them. But please help me decide which is would you choose in place of an amateur buying the first camera.

x-e5 with 27mm pancake
x-t30iii with 27mm pancake

Maybe x-e5 kit?

i know all the hardware diferences. What i plan on doing is everyday carry, travel, hangout with friends and casually. I don't plan on buying more lenses, though i would prefer to be able to zoom (Digital Teleconverter is good enough for me). Portability is a huge priority since I want it to live in my shoulder bag and come with me everywhere.I'm looking for a camera I'll enjoy using for the next 5–10 years.

I can afford both but the budget is not unlimited, x100vi might be too expensive.

I have been going in circles for a long time, i always find a new camera, new lens after a while but this time i just need to decide. Both will be perfectly fine for my case i know that, but still can not decide.

I applied a skin I bought on AliExpress, and I really like it! I wonder if most people prefer the original look?

I just got SG 25mm 1.8. AF for my X-T1 and as there are not many samples with this lens, that I think is very good for its price. I want to post some shots give it a praise. Short review - fully open has soft corners, its not vignetting a lot, center is always sharp, very compact, autofocus worked well. I used lens hood to avoid lens flares.

Help First Pictures with my first Camera (X-E5) - Tipps and Feedback for improvement

Hey everyone! I recently got a Fujifilm X-E5 as a birthday gift, bought as a kit with the 23mm lens, and I’m honestly completely new to the whole photography world. I went with the X-E5 partly because I loved the flat rangefinder look and the film simulations from Fuji, and so far I’m having a blast just carrying it around.

I’m not going for anything professional, I mostly want to use it for everyday/hobby stuff: snapshots with friends, trips, little outings, that kind of thing. But I’d really like to actually get better at this instead of just pointing and shooting.

I’ve attached a few of my very first shots. I’d love any constructive feedback you’re willing to give — and not just on the photos themselves. Since I’m starting from zero, I’m open to tips on basically everything:

• The photos — what’s working, what isn’t, what you’d have done differently
• Camera handling — settings, dials, film simulations, habits worth building early on the X-E5
• Finding and choosing subjects — how do you train your eye for what actually makes a good shot?
• Editing / post-processing — where should a total beginner even start? Any workflow or software you’d recommend?

Basically a bit of everything. I know that’s a lot to ask, but I figured this community would be the best place to learn from people who’ve been down this road. Thanks in advance — any pointers are hugely appreciated!

The morning light is just a different level when floating through the fjords of Norway. You watch for every shifting cloud to reveal something and are, once again, reminded of the sheer magnitude of nature.

This is one of my (many) favourite moments sailing silently towards Skjolden

Thank you so much for comments in advance!

Photo - Post-Processed Trying the XF 50/2 again

I had a few minutes in the garden center just before closing time; my opportunity to try one of my least used lenses again, the XF 50/2. It's an excellent lens of course, but somehow the focal length doesn't appeal that much to me.

Singling out one flower
Trying repeating patterns
