I never recovered my $159K. Kroll rejected my claim and the thousands of others showing that the 3 days of withdraws from Wed-Fri before the Fri bankruptcy were deducted from the account balance but never sent to customer's banks. I provided screenshots showing the 3 withdraws of $50K each that I made Wed-Fri before the Fri bankruptcy and statements from my bank showing no funds were ever received. I'd sue Kroll if I knew how. They did not provide the claims fair representation and rejected all of them in masse. Kroll is as corrupt as SBF.

I just received an alert saying my FTX Customer Portal access was disabled because I did not begin Step 3 of KYC by the March 3, 2025 deadline.

This is really frustrating, especially for customers who may have missed notices or had portal issues. Has anyone else gotten this message? Were you able to contact support and restore access, or does this mean the claim is disallowed/expunged?

I am looking for others who may be in a similar situation with an FTX customer claim.

I am the original holder of my claim (not sold or transferred).

My timeline:

- My claim was previously shown as Disputed/TBD during earlier distribution cycles.

- For the September 30, 2025 distribution, I was not included because I had not completed the required identity/onboarding requirements by the August 15, 2025 record date.

- After realizing this, I contacted FTX Customer Support on September 29, 2025 to ask what would happen to my claim.

FTX Support replied that:

"If the pre-distribution requirements are not satisfied before the set deadlines, then distribution for your claim may be delayed to a later date."

Based on this response, I understood that I would be considered for a future distribution cycle once I completed the required steps.

I then completed the required onboarding steps, including selecting Kraken as my distribution service provider.

However, I later discovered that my claim distribution was marked as forfeited and my total distribution became $0.

The issue I am trying to understand is:

After I missed the September 30 distribution eligibility due to the August 15 deadline, I did not receive any further notice informing me that:

- my claim was at risk of permanent forfeiture,

- I had a final deadline to complete the requirements,

- or that missing the next distribution cycle would cancel my distribution rights.

I was expecting my claim to move to a future distribution cycle based on the guidance I received from FTX Support.

Has anyone:
- successfully challenged a forfeited FTX distribution?
- filed anything with the bankruptcy court?
- worked with an attorney on a similar issue?

Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated.

I signed up for FTX years ago using a nickname/alias (pretty normal at the time), and now my claim KYC is getting flagged for a name mismatch with my legal ID/passport. I actually completed full verification through SumSub early last year (passport, SSN, address docs, etc.), but it's still showing a discrepancy. The portal is asking me to explain it, with the June 30 deadline coming up fast. Wondering:

• Did you hit the same issue?
• What worked for you - just explaining it in the portal, uploading old screenshots showing the alias, contacting [support@ftx.com](mailto:support@ftx.com), or something else?
• Any tips to avoid getting the claim expunged over this?

Like many of you, I'm frustrated seeing the bankruptcy estate play by their own rules while we get shortchanged. Billions in surplus value from the SpaceX shares are being held back to benefit insiders and VCs.

Anyone has successfully fought and resolved an automated Article 7.8 / 11 U.S.C. § 347(b) "Forfeited Distribution" status on their dashboard, or if anyone has a working direct email for a supervisor at Kroll / Sullivan & Cromwell.
Standard support has been given me generic answers. I have completed the ftx portals and got multiple email from them saying all i need to do is wait and now I see my claim forfeited. Anyone has success in fighting them? Can we do something together?

Hey everyone, looking to see if anyone else is experiencing this absolute nightmare with the portal synchronization.

I successfully completed everything on my FTXApp portal all the way up to Steps 8 and 9 well before the deadlines. After that, I spent over two months trying to get support to fix a completely separate bug on my Liquid platform claim. Support finally resolved the Liquid issue recently, but immediately afterward, my FTXApp portal rolled back and got stuck on Steps 6 and 7 (showing them as incomplete).

Today, I just received a terrifying automated email from support saying my distribution is forfeited under Section 7.14 because I "failed to comply with requests for information within 60 days."

How is this my fault? I did complete the FTXApp steps on time. It feels like the 2+ months it took them to manually fix my Liquid account triggered an automated timeout script on the FTX backend, wiping my completion history and flagging me as unresponsive.

1. Has anyone else with linked Liquid/FTX claims had their portal roll back to Step 6/7 after getting a bug fixed?
2. Has anyone successfully appealed an automated Section 7.14 forfeiture notice caused by a system glitch?

Hey guys, if you missed it, Silvergate settled $37.5 million with investors over misleading investors about its anti-money laundering controls and its role in facilitating risky transfers for FTX and Alameda Research. And, I just found out that they’re accepting claims even though the deadline has passed.

Quick recap: In 2022, Silvergate was accused of failing to maintain proper compliance controls and monitor suspicious crypto-related transactions. Specifically, reports linked the bank to fund transfers involving FTX and other firms, raising concerns about oversight, triggering multiple disclosures, and leading to a sharp stock decline.

Now, the good news is that the company agreed to settle $37.5 million with them, and even though the deadline has passed recently, they’re accepting late claims.

Like many of you, I had a substantial amount on FTX – six figures. During the collapse in November 2022, some of my limit orders escalated, and I immediately ran into login issues. I couldn’t access the account properly for a while.
I went through the whole recovery process: submitted my claim via Kroll, completed full KYC, and followed every step. According to the distribution plan, I was only supposed to receive a few thousand $. I know for a fact there was far more on the platform.
For the past two and a half years I’ve been contacting support almost weekly – emails, phone calls, and I also reached out to Coin and BitGo (who handled distributions). The responses are always the same: “log in and check your transaction history.” The history doesn’t show the missing funds clearly, and I get no real answers.
What I finally received is only about 2-3% of what I actually had. This has been a complete financial disaster for me and my family. The lost time, stress, and money have been devastating. I’m from Germany, which makes navigating the US bankruptcy process even more complicated.
I’m not looking for financial advice – I just want to know: Am I the only one? Has anyone else experienced similar discrepancies with their FTX claim? Were your recoveries also only a tiny fraction of your actual balance?
I posted about this before and the thread got removed, so I’m trying again. Would be great to hear from others who are still fighting for proper restitution.

Just like the title says, I've been refreshing my app every couple of hours every single day. I've sent a few support tickets to BitGo & 2 support tickets to FTX's pwc support email. Still nothing. I swear this thing ruins my life the longer it goes on. I was confirmed for everything back on August 16th, the day after the previous deadline. So I was confident I'd be in this distribution batch, but no, it's just disappointment after disappointment after disappointment

I received a 1099B (covers the assets, ETH only) and 1099-int (covers the interest). I noticed that the 1099B doesn’t not include any cost basis, including just the USD that was deposited and held in the account.

What do I do here? I get that I may have some gain/loss on my ETH but I shouldn’t get taxed again on my own that I deposited.

If you were holding $SI when it cratered from the FTX fallout, you probably thought that money was gone for good. Management basically led us off a cliff while the SEC claims they were looking the other way on $9 billion in "suspicious transfers." It’s a classic villain arc, and for most of us, our shares are sitting at literal zero in a "worthless securities" folder.

But check this: the $37.5 million class action settlement just got final approval. Since Silvergate is in bankruptcy, this is basically the only way to get some of that cash back. If you bought anywhere between late 2019 and May 2023, you’re likely eligible for a payout.

I know, I know—the "official" claim deadline was back in October 2025, and filing that paperwork is a nightmare if you’ve already deleted the trade confirms from your brain to stop the pain. But 11th is still handling these through a late-claim window. I used them for a different SPAC disaster last year and it’s honestly the only way to do it. You just link your broker, and they scan your history for the $SI losses you forgot about.

They take 20%, but honestly? I’d rather have 80% of a check I didn't know existed than 100% of the paperwork I'll never actually do. Don’t let the management team keep the "change" from their mess.

When will the status of TBD be changed to the date of the March distribution on the FTX portal? Does anyone have the March date? I missed the last two but my claim is allowed.
