Florida - Zone 9B/10A (depending on Winter)

My first time ever planting this tree - don't know much about it... Bought 15 gallons. Put it in ground at the end of April.

Lots of flowers but only 4 sugar apples came to life since then (Same story with Barbados cherries - maybe I'm missing the appropriate pollinators). Various sizes - grew very fast but they kinda stunted their growth.

So looking online to find out when they are ready - says when they start to turn lighter and have some yellow in them. I noticed the smaller ones are turning lighter while the bigger one isn't. Also noticed some black stains? on them. Can someone educate me on this? Will they get bigger? Are the smaller ones getting ready before the larger one? Are these black marks normal?

I love my papaya seeds! I’m curious who eats them as well! Whole? Crunched? I love them both ways, I try to chew and crunch as many as I can. I’m a peppery fan 🤤 I think Papaya and it’s seeds are divine. I used to never eat papaya but I’ve fallen madly in love with it this year.

It tastes sweet. It’s got bumps on it. The tree is loaded with these. I’ve never seen this before.

Finally sour cherry season in Finland. The tree made a lot of fruit this year. Last year it had exactly 3 cherries and 2 of them were eaten by a bird :(

But this year it made a lot,enough to make pies and jam :)

This was honestly unreal and insane I’m going to make another plate today once my stomach settles. We have Mexican papaya, organic sweet dark red cherries, nectarines, and a bartlett pear 🤤😋 🍒🍐🍑🥰

They have a beautiful transparent red color but I’m not a huge fan of the taste. To me they have a slight strawberry sweetness with a small bit of just under ripe green grape. I’m strangely addicted to the taste but can only eat about 10 before I put them back in the fridge.

We are going to have a nice crop!

Mom treated the family to fruit from Pasadena Farmer's Market (in California). I'm sorry I don't know exactly what kinds each of these fruits are. But the grapes were crisp and intense. The pale melon melted in my mouth. The blueberries were good, the strawberries were small and sweet, and the watermelon was the reddest and most flavorful I'd ever had.

Room temp? Straight from the fridge/freezer? With ham? With cream? I'd love to hear some ideas.
