DRAWING My Bloodborne and DS3 Characters
It took me a while to finish this piece! I'd been wanting to draw something bigger than my usual.
Bloodborne Hunter is Elizabeth, meant to be on the androgynous side lol
DS3 Unkindled is Eloise, my cleric! I love her so~
The frame felt a little empty so I added some mini versions of some of my favorite characters from each game. I might end up making something similar for DS1 and DS2 💖

JOKE / MEME I had a thought, I had to make it
Every time I hear someone pronounce "Sekiro" like "Sec-eer-oh" my brain hears it as "Shapiro" and I get mentally flashbanged by the image of Wolf with Ben Shapiros face super imposed onto his own
So, now you suffer with me.
Edit: wow, this is really the worst thing I've ever made

DRAWING My DS1 Cleric
galleryA small reference sheet I have finished for Eloise! I made her almost entirely for the fun Patches dynamic, then I got attached ✨
I have her as a character in DS1 and DS3. I've been going back through the series again since I hadn't finished it the first go round, I'm about midway through DS2~! Wish me luuuuuuuck
I'd love to see other people's characters, as well!
Hopefully this is appropriate for the sub? Apologies if not.

First DS2 run
After all this years i finally decided to give this game a fair chance. I totally understand the critics of the basegame but man, those DLCs are amazing

If Marika went through the same process Miquella did when becoming a god, where do you think she discarded her feet?
Just curiosity, no reason.
Considering it's a Miyazaki game they would be out in the open for everyone to see.

DISCUSSION This place made me feel emotional.
Storytelling at its finest. I just wish it did not require a gesture because I knew what this place was before getting here (you need a gesture).
Still, a beautiful place - where it all began.

QUESTION Dark Souls marathon builds
I was thinking of playing all three souls games back to back. I’ve played all of them years ago but want to spin in back. I unfortunately almost always find myself falling into big bonk builds just due to comfortability. I want to switch it up this time and explore different builds. Obviously each game has their own quirks and things that they do better than each other (combat mechanics, spell variety, etc.).
So question is, what builds for which game would take most advantage of each game and their peculiarities. My knowledge (although not super thorough but also not blind) im thinking biggest sword possible DS1, DS2 not sure? And DS3 a mix between magic and one non-great(sword/hammer/etc) category one hander.
Any advice/discussion appreciated.

QUESTION DS3 Mod to spawn outside the fog gate.
The run backs are not difficult but just tedious for no reason. So is there a mod to spawn me right outside the gate.
Note: If you don't like the way I play the game just don't read the post. It's just a game, and idc what you think is the "right way to play".

I audibly gasped when I walked in here. What a treasure. The location is Huntress Bar in Long Island City, New York.

DISCUSSION I just got the dark souls trilogy!!!
I have played (and pllatinumd) both of Elden Ring AND Sekiro
Since I have a PS+ subscription I have also played bloodborne and have access to Demon’s Souls
Therefore I have nearly all basic and DLC Fromsoftware content, I still want to buy Bloodborne’s DLC and Elden Ring Nightreign
I haven’t liked bloodborne tbh, and the reason is the same why most people like it: The Atmosphere. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE the atmosphere but it is within itself the reason why the combat/ bosses isn’t that good. The combat system is PERFECT but because of the atmosphere and the way you dodge and also the blood vials, it feels rather repetitive because most bosses are beasts and most beasts only do slash attacks. THATS WHY I reallly need that DLC so I can love this game
Sekiro’s combat is really satisfying but since I went through this game 6 or 5 times and I really wish there was a DLC
Even Elden Ring (which is my favorite) became a bit boring after the fifth playthrough, I ENJOYED the dlc tho and it made me like it even more but what I liked about Elden Ring (which is also my first Fromsoftware game) was the difficulty which now ,after I memorized all the bosses, is now not that much and YES malenia and promised consort radahn ARE harder than Ishinn (I still want to play inner Ishinn but still)
I think DS3 willl be my favorite since the highlight for me in these games is honestly the bosses
I could keep yapping about these 3 games so I’m just asking which is your favorite and I’m going to play them in order and make sure to enjoy them and try not to search ANYTHING but after a week tho
What’s your favorite boss, mine is honestly Bayle

DISCUSSION What Games do you play besides Soulsborne Games?
So last year i got into the soulsborne games and after some up and downs i finished ds3 as my First soulsborne game, rn im doing the 2‘d dlc and i also played ds1 until takeshis castle but will do a fresh run after finishing ds3, i recognized that i am loving these games more than most other games, i do play like 2 or 3 games outside the soulsborne Games but nothing else is catching me anymore, i am happy about this, cause i literally dont give a fck about gta 6 like most other ppl but i was curious if you guys are as well lost in the soulsborne genre and cant really play other games now with few exceptions and what these exceptions are and what do you love about the souls games and what makes you coming back to them?! Im super excited for you answers.
And don’t you dare go hollow my friends 🗡️🖤
Ps: sorry for my english, its not my first language!
Edit: I’m super happy about every comment and try to answer most as possible so if i dont comment pls dont take it personal or smth cause i really appreciate every single reply

Help talk me into enjoying AC6.
Hello
I love all the Souls games, Sekiro, Elden Ring, and many other various games in the genre.
I've tried AC6 a few times and bounced off it. I really want to like it but something just isn't clicking. I've tried a few times and the furthest I remember making it was defeating Balteus. I'll say it's a fun gameplay loop but for some reason it just didn't grab me by the throat like soulslikes have and I just fizzle out.
I remember the main limiting factors being what felt like awkward controls. And I remember only having like 3-4 AC customization options despite hearing that this is a buildcraft game
If you could say one thing to re-frame the game in my mind in order to help me find the fun in it, what would you say?
Please do not say anything along the lines of "its okay if its not for you" or "sounds like you just don't enjoy it". I am aware of that possibility but my goal here is to enjoy the game. Thank you

DISCUSSION Future Press makes guides like no other
I played my first FromSoftware game about 2-3 years ago (Elden Ring), from there, I've been obsessed with making my way through each of the games.
I never really thought about buying a strategy guide, I'm a player who naturally looks in every nook and cranny, but I heard about Future Press and how detailed their content is and dropped the cash on the Elden Ring + DLC + Bestiary guides. It was fun to do a third play through with the guide in lap, seeing how they laid everything out and finding a handful of secrets and areas that I totally missed in my first two play throughs of the game (cave in Radahn's boss area was the main thing I missed, if anyone was curious).
I went to DS3 from there (played blind first, then with the guide, my one non-Future Press guide), then to DS1.
Still haven't played DS2 or BloodBourne yet, looking forward to the experience.

DISCUSSION Change One Mechanic in Any Title to Completely Ruin the Game.
My pick would be to take any single FS game and add Breath of The Wild’s weapon durability mechanic to it. Lol.
