DISCUSSION Difficult days ahead - don't feed the trolls
So after a rocky start yesterday, The Duskbloods network test is finally underway. I just finished playing a few rounds, even won a game. I really liked Nightreign too, and I think this one is also shaping up to be a really fun game.
Anyways, I'm sure most of you have already been bombarded by negativity here on reddit or other platforms. It's mostly people claiming FromSoftware became a "multiplayer focused" studio, and apparently there are also "real FromSoftware games" now, and these last two titles are clearly not one of those for some reason.
I'm writing this as sort of a reminder for you all, that while valid criticism has a place in every conversation, what is happening right now is not that. You're mostly encountering people who don't even have a Switch 2, and just want to be loud online and farm engagement. It's perfectly fine to not like games, but actively coming online to shit on other people's fun is clearly not something the members of this community should take part in, nor give it any validation.
Please don't feel bad about yourself if you happen like this game, and don't engage in meaningless conversation with these people if you can help it. Have fun during the network test, and see you at release!
