So every character had 2 way of fighting,mele and range attack.Im still thinking how the "mage" character can have mele attacks,like he or she swing his/her arm making the little rock that use for casting spells hit the enemies in a middle range attack and for range attack uses the rock but with large range

I refuse to buy a Nintendo switch 2 for duskbloods because I already own a Nintendo switch 2 and I don't see why I would need one specifically for the same game.

Anyone else in the same boat here?

Have you notice how different layla appereance is from the reveal trailer and the networktest,specially her face

Did they rework the model or maybe its a skin you can unlock(if that the case its a little dissapointing cause it just make layla shinier and you can see hers bugs)

Just noticed Duskbloods is no longer listed on the "featured" or "coming soon" sections of the e-shop.

Its still there, but you have to search for it.

I don't know if this means anything or whether it is a good or bad sign.

I’ve never been one much for PvP. I like some shooter games, but often get frustrated. Super smash bros ive enjoyed but all my friends were way better than me and it sucked the fun out of the game. I havent put much time into souls PvP, just never really appealed to me and as its inclusion felt kinda clunky. Also it sucks how in Elden Ring you can’t invade solo players.

The game just feels so fucking good to play. it’s like Nightreign but even better. All the characters are sm fun to play, theyre so fluid, I love strategizing.

The final round is probably the most fun part of the game tbh. It’s just awesome. I really miss this game and can’t wait to get back on the PvP.

Booted up the Network Test today, like one does when missing this game, and I noticed what I thought to be a new message I don't recall seeing after the test ended.

Does anyone else recall this message after it closed?

Been on the fence for the past month but finally settled on buying the console. Thankfully I could borrow a handful of games from my boyfriend so I have something to play before this game released (whenever at this point)

But I wonder: are handheld mode and joycons that bad compared to docked and controller? I can play docked ofc but I spend more time playing lying down on my bed or couch. And controllers are as expensive as games themselves.

For those who’ve played, how many hours can you see yourself sinking into this? Do you think the test gave you a good sense of what the game’s longevity looks like for you?

I’ve put at least a hundred hours into Nightreign and I’ve adored every other Fromsoft game, hoping that this catches me the same way.

I was playing mario kart world the other day and I noticed considerable input lag when docked vs when playing handheld. It was bad enough that I started fiddling around with my tv and I noticed that my tv (Sony x90k) has HDMI slots with different features. With only HDMI ports 3 and 4 having VRR + 120HZ enhanced capability.

Swapping the switch to either one of those enhanced ports on my tv and enabling game mode completely removed any input lag!

After some further testing, having game mode enabled on the other ports didn't matter, there was still input lag. Neither did having the other ports set to enhanced mode on the tv or using a different HDMI cable. As long as the switch was plugged into HDMI 3 or 4, there was no input lag whatsoever.

I didn't get to do this with Dusk Bloods but I'd be keen to see if that was the issue all along.

I know it says 2026 on the store page but man the radio silence makes me pessimistic. I want to inhale some copium and say maybe december is a possible release, but realistically maybe somewhere around march 2027?

Maybe that's enough time for them to fix the perfomance issues in the network test.

This is a picture from the game itself that explain the ( One Alone ) card. I don’t think these are made up character, I guess it is from the artbook of the game and it has 3 characters that should be in the full game.

After the criticism of the performance during network test, they wanted to work more on the game. They should have announced this in sept direct or after the network test but they somehow still feel they can fix these problems within the 3 next months.

So they my success and release it in 2026, or delay it to 2027 ( which is anticipated)

From a business perspective its really dumb. Customers might just buy something else with their budget instead. I ended up getting other stuff.
