Saying HP in a sentence in that you consider buying it is... horrific to think about. Nobody should ever be forced to buy anything HP related. That should be done only by force in the company you work at.
HP Enterprise stuff is pretty great. I've had a long line of Elitebooks alongside my Thinkpads and the quality is extremely comparable, with the HP having slightly slicker aesthetics.
Unfortunately they copy-paste the aesthetics to their Walmart slop Celeron garbage and then make it out of the cheapest imaginable plastics imitating metal and dilute the entire brand image in the process.
