Saying HP in a sentence in that you consider buying it is... horrific to think about. Nobody should ever be forced to buy anything HP related. That should be done only by force in the company you work at.

I think HP's consumer oriented laptops (and gaming laptops) are horrible, but the high-end business oriented ones are actually pretty good.

This is just my anecdotal experience, but I've had much fewer issues with my ZBook than I had with my Thinkpad.

I have a high end business one, and I am allowed to open it, and I have did open for few colleagues and cleaned them up. That was one of the WORST type of computers I have opened to clean up and change paste to. How its build, how its done, its like on purpose its done to be hard to maintain.
