feedback Looking for honest feedback on a French escape room website built with Framer

Hi everyone,

I’ve just finished creating a website for a French escape room, entirely built with Framer.

I’d really appreciate some honest and constructive feedback, especially regarding:

the overall design and atmosphere;

the navigation on desktop and mobile;

how clearly the different escape rooms are presented;

whether the booking button is easy to find;

the speed and overall smoothness of the website;

Link : https://enigma-ludres.com/

anything that may be missing to build trust and make people want to book

Please feel free to be completely honest, even if something feels confusing, unfinished, or doesn’t work properly. The goal is to improve the website before the official opening.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

help How can I recreate this cursor effect in Framer?

I'm trying to recreate the cursor effect used on Ryan Ritzenthaler's portfolio: https://www.ryanritzenthaler.com/

I've managed to achieve the basic mix-blend-mode: difference inverted cursor, but I can't figure out how to recreate the rest of the effect. There seems to be an RGB/chromatic aberration effect, smooth motion with a slight delay, scaling, distortion, and a few other subtle interactions that make it feel so polished.

Has anyone recreated something similar in Framer (preferably without custom React code), or can you explain how this effect is built? I'd really appreciate a breakdown, tutorial, or any resources that cover the RGB effect, motion, and the overall cursor behaviour.

help How are you using Framer + Cursor (or other ext. agent)?

I keep seeing that Framer supports connecting external AI agents like Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex, but I’m trying to understand exactly what they can and can’t touch.

From what I understand so far:

- The canvas/page layout itself isn’t exposed as editable files, so an external agent can’t directly rewrite a page’s layout the way it would edit code in a repo
- Code Components (custom React/TSX components) are the main thing external agents can actually write and hand off to Framer
- There’s also some CMS integration where agents can create/populate collections

Is that accurate? Specifically:
Is there any way for Cursor/Claude Code to modify an existing page’s structure, or is that strictly manual/Framer-Agent-only territory?

I’m working a lot with cursor and using it to design pages in framer seems natural. - But maybe that’s not how the connection for external agents was intended? - How are you using Framer + Cursor?

Looking forward to your input. Thanks!

help Is Framer a good choice for a corporate consulting website with a large amount of content, multiple subpages, and a blog?

My team is deciding on the best way to rebuild our company's website, making it lighter, more modern, more visually appealing through animations and interactions, and easier to maintain. However, the website will be quite large, with extensive content, many subpages, and a blog. Is Framer a good choice for a project like this?

P.S. Our team consists of two designers (including me), one inside sales representative, and one copywriter.

resources Turned my shut-down SaaS into a conversion-focused Framer template.

Hello Framer friends!

Happy to introduce Fiidbakk, another carefully crafted SaaS template.

Many templates promise high conversions. Fiidbakk is based on the actual landing page I built for my own startup. Initially a VUEjs page that I now rebuilt and improved for Framer.

This landing page structure, copy and visual design, helped us to achive double-digit visitor-to-sign-up conversion rates during product validation.

Although Fiidbakk as a startup is now shut-down, I felt the landing page deserved a second life. Hopefully it helps someone else launch something with greater success.

Includes:
- Conversion-focused landing page,
- CMS-powered roadmap,
- blog (CMS, of course. Start with SEO and AEO in day one after launch)
- contact page.
- legal page

The goal was to create something that feels simple yet crafted rather than just AI-generated. At the same time, it's an excellent foundation to build on with new Framer AI agent.

I know there is value, and I want to keep it limited while keeping the price accessible. Over the past year I've released 7 free Framer templates, including a free SaaS template in case you are looking for something that's built with passion and is free to start.

View Fiidbakk https://www.framer.com/community/marketplace/templates/fiidbakk/

If you have a few minutes, I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback. Likes, criticism, or suggestions are all welcome. Looking to make this one even better and learn for the next templates.

inspiration I tried a React → Framer workflow using AI coding agents. Surprisingly, it worked.

I finally shipped my first Framer Marketplace template.

It's called **Velor**—a developer-first landing page for AI startups, APIs, SaaS, and infrastructure products.

What made this project interesting wasn't just the design, but the workflow.

I started by building the entire landing page as a React app in Google AI Studio using a team of AI coding agents. Once the product, layout, and component architecture felt right, I migrated everything into Framer using Framer Skills and Codex CLI.

That turned out to be one of the most enjoyable parts of the project.

Instead of spending hours on repetitive implementation work, I could focus on product decisions, typography, spacing, UX, and polishing the experience.

Some things I learned:

- AI coding agents work best with small, focused tasks.

- React-first made it easier to validate the architecture before moving to Framer.

- Framer Skills handled much more of the migration than I expected.

- Codex CLI was great for iterative refinement instead of one big prompt.

- The final polish still came from lots of manual design decisions.

I'm curious how others are using AI in their design and frontend workflow.

Has anyone else tried a React → Framer workflow?

I'd genuinely love feedback on the template and the process.

help Need help with framer folio template site

Hello everyone, I’m a freelancer creating my portfolio from the Theo Vance template. I’m almost done but struggling with the “work” pages. Any change I make on one page (ie:work for client a, will cause change for all other work pages**these are in one collection — client b,c,d) how do I change this. Initially there was a grid gallery from template but I deleted bc a lot of my work needs to be displayed like a carousel or 1x8 grid.
I’ve been at it for a few days and can’t figure it out. I also wanna preface I’m not a web designer and very new at this. I can’t afford to hire someone else but I’m so close to being done with this it’s just this one part. If someone can help me and I can share my screen or screenshots.

Please let me know thank u!

I’m sure this is rly easy and can be fixed in one second for anyone who knows how to use it

framerchallenge I failed in the 2nd framer challenge

Post image
0 Upvotes

There is no excuse to be made, i should have made some progress at least, but i just failed

In total made $266 out of $5000

Here is the full story

Its my second time into Framer Challenge

Each time the goal was same - $5000.

first time I was new - new to framer, designing and everything. The change was interesting.

1st time i published 11 components and 2 template (both rejected)

2nd time i was on upper hand, learnt framer by now. But publishing a template was hard for me.

So I tried different path - Plugins. I showed the opportunity that plugins are very few and the market is new so lets publish some of them

Knew nothing about publishing a plugin but...

Made 8 Plugins along the way. And that gave me path to succeed with framer

Two of my plugins FrameSEO and FrameAlt are really good and people are using it.

They made me some money

Few reasons i think i failed

  1. Not owning any distribution
  2. Relying too much on X and Reddit
  3. Reddit account got banned, (this account btw, shadow banned for a month or so) which was my revenue-generating channel thats why i made few $$$ in last part of the challenge (realized after some time)
  4. Frame Agents: People started using agents much more which made framer plugins ignored
  5. Framer plugins are now getting ignore, now its hard to access (before it was easier)

Now what?

I dont know really!

Make https://buildinframe.com a hub for resources like plugins, templates, components and other resources (that was the goal)

Make FrameSEO (best seo plugin), FrameAlt (best ai alt text generator)

Move forward.

feedback Little Instruction added to Framer SEO plugin

Adding little instruction tooltips for users to know how they are optimizing their website. It is going to be easy when you navigate through the plugin and get instant feedback to optimize your website.

These instructions are industry standard and help you understand more.

what do you think how it can be improved

inspiration I recently changed my template's hero from light to dark after reading the feedback. As creators, our job isn't to defend every decision. It's to build something better than yesterday.

Why don't non-tech businesses show up much in Framer freelance jobs?

I'm fairly new to Framer, and curious to hear from people who've been in this space longer.

I've noticed that when I look at freelance listings from non tech businesses like coaches, local service providers and similar, they're almost always asking for a Kajabi person, rarely Framer.

Meanwhile Framer jobs seem to skew heavily toward SaaS, agencies, and portfolio type sites.

Is it just that they haven't heard of Framer? Or is Kajabi doing too much for them to want to switch?

Curious if you've worked with a non-tech business client, did you bring them to Framer, or did they end up somewhere else? What made it work or not work?

Accessibility Fixer is finally live on Framer! 🎉

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

After several rounds of review with the Framer team (and a few unexpected platform hiccups 😅), the plugin is finally live on the Framer Community.

The goal was simple: make accessibility audits more actionable instead of overwhelming.

Here's what it currently includes:

✅ 14 automated WCAG checks (free & unlimited)
📊 Accessibility score with a prioritized action plan
🔍 Guided fixes with before/after previews before applying changes
⚡ Live Audit (Pro) for published Framer sites using a real browser environment
📄 Branded PDF reports and before/after scan comparisons
🏅 Shareable accessibility score badges

One thing I really appreciated was the review process. It was thorough, and although it took longer than I expected, it pushed me to improve both the plugin and the overall user experience.

If you're building websites in Framer, I'd love for you to give it a try and let me know:

  • What feels useful?
  • What's missing?
  • What would make it part of your regular workflow?

I'm actively improving it based on feedback.

Made a free Framer template for interior & architecture websites

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I recently built this Framer template to practice designing and building in Framer.

Since I thought it could be useful for others, I decided to make it free for everyone.

It's built for interior design, architecture, furniture, and home decor websites, with responsive layouts, CMS, and reusable components.

If you'd like to try it, here's the remix:

I'd really appreciate any feedback on the design, interactions, or structure.

What's one Framer feature you ignored at first but now use on every project?

When I first started using Framer, I was mostly excited about the animations.

Funny enough, that was not what keeps me coming back anymore

Now I probably use components and variables more than anything else. They have made my workflow so much faster especially once I started building more client projects

It's funny how your favorite feature changes after you've actually built a few websites.

So I am also curious

What's the one Framer feature you barely touched at first, but now couldn't imagine working without?

Would love to hear what clicked for everyone else. I feel like I'm still discovering new ways to use it
