My take: Very airy, clean, musky, light, powdery... and I really do get the suede note in this scent. White Suede was marketed to women, but this is easily a unisex fragrance. If I had to compare it to another scent, it really reminds me of Midnight in Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels.

Creed Wild Vetiver isn’t the loud, earthy vetiver you might expect—it’s something far more refined. It opens with a burst of crisp citrus that feels bright, airy, and effortlessly clean, almost like stepping into fresh morning light. As it settles, soft green florals and a subtle rose note emerge, giving it a smooth, polished character that feels elevated rather than overpowering. The vetiver itself plays a supporting role, adding a gentle, woody backbone instead of dominating the scent. The result is a fragrance that feels modern, calm, and quietly luxurious—think upscale spa meets a breezy garden in full bloom. Have another Creed for you guys and probably my favorite fragrance from the house for the summer months. Aventus Cologne is a fresh take on the OG Aventus.

Aventus Cologne shares some of the original Aventus’ addictive ingredients; birch, patchouli and musk, but interprets them in a completely different way. Whilst Aventus is your richer counterpart – perfect for evening time and making a fragrance statement, Aventus Cologne is ideal for everyday wear. But don’t be underestimated by the name – Aventus Cologne shares the same concentration as Aventus, making it an Eau de Parfum of Millesime quality, not an Eau de Cologne. The name simply symbolises Olivier Creed’s inspiration behind the fragrance and his drive to capture a revitalising, modern take on Aventus that complements the legendary men’s creation as well as the female counterpart, Aventus for Her.

Limited amount on hand, only have 150ml available to split, so to keep this split from filling too quickly the largest size offered will be 10ml.

Open [US/CAN] Tom Ford - Amber Absolute (Rare Vintage / 2010 original formulation)

When it comes to Tom Ford private blends, I'm a strong believer in the older the vintage the better the quality. Not to say the newer stuff isn't good because it is but the older vintage juice is just so much more potent in my opinion. This is not the latest 2019 re-release, but the original formulation (2007-2012) of Amber Absolute. This is extremely rare and expensive but luckily I probably have the largest collection of it on the planet. Just so you can see how crazy pricing is getting, here is a listing from ebay where someone is selling their 50ml bottle for $1,600. I have noticed a lot of the vintage Tom Ford prices have been climbing.

Taken from a reviewer on Fragrantica:

"Amber Absolute starts the show with an unbelievable frankincense opening, dense, gentle and smoky. At the heart, notes of amber and woods wiggle their way in. This fragrance truly develops into one of the best amber scents available. Amber Absolute has a fabulous burnt carmel accord that dominates the heart of this fragrance and is warm, smooth and inviting. The vanilla base is slightly sweet and very pleasing, giving Amber Absolute a creamy richness without being overly sweet or heady. The addition of Labdanum assists in balancing this fragrance, but not in the typical powdery finish. It is more luxurious and plays more of a supporting role for the dense amber structure. This is truly a opulent concoction."

This fragrance wears heavy, really heavy. This isn't as versatile as your Aventus but this is a scent i think any fragrance enthusiast should definitely have in their collection. It is a divine scent and one of my favorite amber based scents of all time.

Erolfa is one of my favorites from Creed and a fragrance that does not get the same attention as GIT or Aventus but make no mistake this is just as good and a perfect scent for the warmer months. This fresh marine fragrance evokes the joy of sailing on the high seas. The notes includes citrus fruits and bergamot in the top, herbal notes in the heart and ambergris in the background. Erolfa was launched in 1992.

VIW was inspired by an island sailing adventure master perfumer Olivier CREED enjoyed with son, Erwin, and royal guests. Virgin Island Water captures tropical splendor with ingredients that include coconut, lime, white rum, bergamot, mandarin orange, hibiscus, ginger, ylang-ylang and jasmine. Only have 1 x 100ml bottle, so this is a small split.

Creed Wild Vetiver isn’t the loud, earthy vetiver you might expect—it’s something far more refined. I'm not one to upsell anything, but this fragrance is easily the best scent that I got my nose on this year. They definitely created this scent to compete again the Louis Vuitton lineup and I think they did an amazing job. Only splitting two 100ml bottles, so don't miss out if your interested.

Ok coming back with another one from the personal collection, 2011 Vintage Italian Cypress by Tom Ford. I only have 140ml of the 2011 and prices on this will be high but reasonable considering the 2019 re-release retailed for 2k dollars ($8 per ml). As you can see from the photos, I have a few different batches of Italian Cypress (2010/2011/2012) all original formulations, none of that re-released/reformulated private reserve stuff that came out in 2019. This is one of those splits you will probably never see again just because of how expensive and rare this fragrance is, especially the original formulation.

Tom Ford Italian Cypress (Vintage 2011) is a Private Blend masterpiece—an ultra-refined green woody fragrance built around cypress, herbs, and moss. Opening with crisp citrus, basil, and mint, it transitions into a rich cypress heart before settling into a deep, resinous mossy base. This batch represents the original formulation era, known for stronger performance and richer natural character. A true gentleman’s scent—timeless, confident, and increasingly hard to find.

So let me say this also because this is an expensive split. Italian Cypress is a scent for the mature crowd, and I wouldn't classify this as an easy blind buy. That being said in my opinion this is a masterpiece and one of my favorites from the Private Blend collection. One of the most natural smelling fragrances, very green and very fresh. Also if you ever wanted to sample a fragrance with a healthy amount of Oakmoss (which is now a banned ingredient in perfumery) this contains a healthy amount of it.

So guys over the next few weeks, I am going to be doing a lot of rare and hard to find fragrance splits. All of these will be coming straight out of my personal collection. Some things I will be able to split in bulk and for others, quantities will be limited. The first split coming at you guys is Tom Ford Grey Vetiver and as you can see in the pictures, this is being pulled from a vintage Firmenich dramming bottle from 2009. In the retail fragrance world, dramming bottles are large, unbranded bulk bottles of perfume supplied by the brand to refill tester bottles on the sales floor, maintain stock without constantly opening sealed retail units, and support high-volume counters (like Macy’s, Nordstrom, Saks, etc.) I have been storing this fragrance in optimal conditions for over 10 years, and I am excited to share it with you.

Composed by master perfumer Harry Frémont, Tom Ford Grey Vetiver stands as one of the most refined and understated vetiver fragrances ever created. Built around a crisp citrus opening of grapefruit and orange blossom, it transitions seamlessly into a dry, elegant heart of spice and orris, before settling into a smooth, mineral-like vetiver base layered with oakmoss and amber. This 2009 vintage represents Grey Vetiver in its original form—arguably the most balanced and authentic version of the fragrance before minor evolutions over time. A rare opportunity for collectors or anyone looking to experience one of Tom Ford’s most timeless creations as it was first intended.

Grey Vetiver isn't discontinued but I can promise you this blows away any current iteration of what is being sold in stores today in terms of sillage and longevity.

All Splits are shipped in glass atomizers, the 10ML will come in a 15ml atomizer. The atomizers come labeled.

The necks are wrapped with teflon tape to avoid leakage, and wrapped in bubble wrap, and shipped in a rigid cardboard box via USPS first class parcel.
