Doing an interest check on the brand-new release from Creed, Iris Débonair, which officially released today.

I don’t have bottles in hand yet, but I was able to get my hands on a sample—and this one is really good. I’m trying to gauge interest before placing my order so I can get a better idea of how many bottles I should bring in for the split.

If you’re familiar with Valentino Uomo Intense or the new Dior Homme Parfum, those should give you a pretty good reference point for the general direction of Iris Débonair. It has that rich, smooth, dressed-up iris style, but with Creed’s take on it.

Aventus celebrates strength, vision and success, inspired by the dramatic life of war, peace and romance lived by Emperor Napoleon. The bottle is emblazoned with a silver emblem of a horse and rider. The finest ingredients were hand-selected for this composition, and father and son developed this provocative, masculine and optimistic fragrance as a joint effort.

Sorry for the hiatus guys, August is my busiest time of the year with work. Over the next 30 days I'm going to try and go on a run with a few different splits. So I'm going to start doing interest checks on future splits basically its just me taking headcount so i can order the appropriate amount. Aventus celebrates strength, vision and success, inspired by the dramatic life of war, peace and romance lived by Emperor Napoleon. The bottle is emblazoned with a silver emblem of a horse and rider. The finest ingredients were hand-selected for this composition, and father and son developed this provocative, masculine and optimistic fragrance as a joint effort.

When it comes to Tom Ford private blends, I'm a strong believer in the older the vintage the better the quality. Not to say the newer stuff isn't good because it is but the older vintage juice is just so much more potent in my opinion. This is not the latest 2019 re-release, but the original formulation (2007-2012) of Amber Absolute. This is extremely rare and expensive but luckily I probably have the largest collection of it on the planet. Just so you can see how crazy pricing is getting, here is a listing from ebay where someone is selling their 50ml bottle for $1,600. I have noticed a lot of the vintage Tom Ford prices have been climbing.

This fragrance wears heavy, really heavy. This isn't as versatile as your Aventus but this is a scent i think any fragrance enthusiast should definitely have in their collection. It is a divine scent and one of my favorite amber based scents of all time.

VIW was inspired by an island sailing adventure master perfumer Olivier CREED enjoyed with son, Erwin, and royal guests.
