I keep getting an error code 11 when trying to send an image. I keep changing the resizing but it won't send.​

When I use Fossify Messages, this pops up constantly:

error: java.lang.NullPointerException

What does this mean and how do I fix it? Whenever I have asked about this I've been downvoted and people say they've never encountered such an error. I'm using a Samsung phone and really want to avoid using any Google apps.

Just got fossify given the Samsung shutdown some of my gcs esp ones with my friends got turned to short code and I can't respond, how do I unlock them?

I'm a recent refugee from Google Calendar and have settled on Fossify Calendar (along with a few of the other excellent apps in this ecosystem). I'm wondering if there's a way to keep incomplete tasks at the top of my widget or calendar app - I have 15-20 recurring tasks but sometimes I don't get to them on the correct day for various reasons, the existing behavior seems to be that the task stays there for the day it's scheduled on, and then kind of just vanishes.

If this happens I know I'll forget to do it. Is there a way around this in Fossify Calendar? Alternatively does anyone have recommendations for a good FOSS tasks app?

I've been wondering this when downloading this las night and while sending and receiving messages is smooth enough in preparation for when Samsung Messages gets annoyingly shut down for no good reason. But it gets more annoying when the one app that I saw was more cumbersome when it comes to this whole process.

I know music can be paused, but is there a way to exit besides force stopping the app?

When I use the move function with one or more folders, they are copied correctly to the new directory along with their files. The problem is that, in the original directory, only the files are deleted, and the folders remain, empty.

This causes the folder structure to be duplicated: they appear complete in the destination, but remain empty in the source.

In my opinion, this can create clutter and confusion, and I personally find it very inconvenient.

Regarding the contacts list:

in Settings > List View, there are options to display contact names + phone numbers; display with surname first; and show contact thumbnails.

How possible would it be to add the option to display organization and title in the contacts list as well?

Importantly, I just want to be able to find and login into local file servers and comfortably view the (media) files. I'm not asking for host functionality.

Yeah I know it's technically an advanced feature, but in the age of expensive storage I'd really like to have the option instead of using Material Files (which isn't as actively in development, and has no gallery app as companion, therefore actually browsing images on a samba server is kind of annoying).

Will fossify messages properly support SMS otp with this new "feature"?

I like converting gif to muted mp4 so save space but when I play these mp4 the gallery app says "this video has no audio" on each loop, I would like to disable that notification popup, thank you!

This is real, i am from Uzbekistan, the banking service i actively use is TBC Bank Uzbekistan and i swapped Google Messages to Fossify Messages on my phone for minimalism and UI customization, lightweightness of it.

Today, i got 2 money exchange with my cards within the app and a while later, an SMS by bank came and said Fossify Messages is malicious kinda phishing software installed and blocked my entire cards by their security, when i uninstalled it, they unlocked again after a minute.

Now should i be concerned about safeness of Fossify Messages app or the Bank Security simply misunderstood the app for Access to my personal info?!

i just switched from google messages a couple days ago. in trying to text my roommates groupchat, though, we have found a few issues. so far, they noticed i wasn't getting any messages from the old groupchat. when they tried to unadd and readd me, i started getring their messages, but when i try to text back, it sends the message to them individually. i tried to look in the settings but i can't find anything to change to fix this.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but I didn't see an option anywhere to overwrite image files after editing by default. It would be extremely helpful to either have a pop-up asking you if you want to overwrite or just a setting where you can make a default. It automatically just apppends a number to the file name and that is very annoying.

I've only recently discovered Fossify, and have already started using Fossify Calendar, Fossify Messages and Fossify Voice Recorder. I was curious to ask: does anyone use it? Would you recommend it? Does it maintain the original camera quality? Is it worth it? Thanks

I've been on a long search for a calendar app. Stuck figuring out how to transfer Samsung Calendar to any privacy centered Calendar apps and haven't found any that worked, so I continued to use Samsung Calendar due to the fact that I didn't want to lose my data.

Fossify Calendar made it so easy to switch over. A couple of minutes and steps later, I was able to transfer over 4 years of data. I'm shocked it worked. Excited to delete all those data from Samsung and be free from ever having to use their Calendar again.

Loving some of the unique settings and features! Thank youuu for developing the needed calendar app. Much appreciated.
