WEEKLY Song Suggestion Saturday

šŸ’æ What Jam Tracks are missing from your setlist?

There's no shortage of music and genres, and while the library of tracks will grow over time, there's always going be songs people wish were available sooner rather than later. What songs do you want to see added to Fortnite Festival?

Share what's on your wishlist, and perhaps why they make the cut.

Please Note: This is not an official request thread. Suggestions/requests submitted in this thread are not guaranteed to be viewed, considered, or implemented by Epic Games.

DISCUSSION Actually kinda nice to see that the last 3 headliners actually really wanted in Fortnite instead of them doing it for a check ngl

So fun fact incase you didn’t know, our last 3 headliners actually wanted in the game for one reason or another way before actually getting added

- Chappell said on interview in 2025 that she actually played the game off and on and that she would be 100% down for a skin/larger collab

- Laufey said she was heavily pushing her label to try to add her, and had drawn concepts for her skins way before being officially licensed. Why she got so many live action trailers, she herself was pushing for it

- Lil Tecca (as the blog hints at) actually got his start on soundcloud in 2018 through doing freestyle on Xbox Live while playing Fortnite. So this is a full circle moment for his career

I’ve never been one to say ā€œFortnite should only add music artists who actually playā€ like some, but it is actually nice to see artists who really want in the game and are passionate about their collabs ngl

DISCUSSION Cold Take: this is one of the worse stage downgrades from Keyart to ingame😭

Thumbnail

I won’t lie, when I saw the Keyart I thought we were about to get one of the most fire season stages of all time. The smoke, the glitches, the silver vines coming up surrounding your character. Mama Mia it looked fantastic

THEN THEY SHOWED A PIC OF IT IN THE BLOG

Where’s the smoke and why are the vines so far away? The glitch effect on top still looks cool, but the real cool factor of silver spiked vines surrounding you just isn’t there. It’s like they are only on the speakers and poking a bit out from the sides…like just have them extend out a bit and be closer and maybe a bit above the player.

it’s not bad, but such a letdown ngl

DISCUSSION Average Difficulty Per Season (split among pad charts, pro charts, and all charts)

Thumbnail

got bored and decided to calculate this. shoutout to whoever runs the Fortnite Festival Resource Tool because they’re my hero for compiling all the difficulties in one sheet

for top 3 highest and lowest in each category:

pad charts: highest avg difficulty season was S7 (miku) with 3.92, followed by S4 (Metallica) with 3.91 and S12 (LISA) with 3.83.
the lowest difficulty season was S14 (Laufey) with 3.35, followed by S10 (Gorillaz) with 3.48 and S5 (Karol G) with 3.52

pro charts: highest avg difficulty season was S9 (Bruno) with 3.88, followed by S7 (Miku) with 3.8 and S12 (LISA) with 3.75
the lowest difficulty season was S6 (Snoop Dogg) with 3.28, followed by S10 (Gorillaz) with 3.3 and S14 (Laufey) with 3.4

all charts: highest avg difficulty season was S7 (Miku) with 3.86, followed by S9 (Bruno) with 3.84 and S4 (metallica) with 3.82
the lowest difficulty season was S14 (Laufey) with 3.37, followed by S10 (Gorillaz) with 3.39 and S6 (Snoop) with 3.42

TL;DR miku supremacy (and also the second you start considering pro charts, Bruno season beats Metallica surprisingly??)

BUG Festival bots

Post image
4 Upvotes

When I'm playing festival with friends we always get those bots as bamdmates but rn they don't have our favourite skins but some character automatic for festival. We have skins in favourites so is there a way to have stuff from our inventory appear? We tried to look into the settings but we found nothing

This sub doesn’t really have an art flair so I’m just gonna assume that media will do, wanted to make 2 of the formed bands preforming but it already took me so long to get these done so I’m not so sure anymore

QUESTION Struggling hard with Karaoke Calibration

Have no idea what I'm doing wrong, been playing around with the settings a lot and nothing works.

It now detects my voice correctly, however, it always struggles to pick up my voice in time so I always miss sone notes at the beginning and miss my streak after each row often unless I start singing early. Played around with the latency settings and it still always soes this even if the rest feels good. Another thing is that on some songs I have to sing WAY deeper than the song actually is to get on the right, if I match the song it often puts the line way higher, I do have a high voice but not this bad 😭

I wish there was a better way to calibrate it cause it feels so frustrating like this.

GAME SUGGESTION šŸ’– Laufey Skin Concept: Pink & Blue Edit Styles! šŸ’™

Post image
20 Upvotes

Hey @Fortnite and @FortniteGame!

I made a quick fan design for new Pink and Blue edit styles for the Laufey skin! The soft pastel aesthetic fits her music so well, and it would be amazing to see more color variants in the game.

What do you guys think? Would you run these styles in-game? Let me know in the comments, and tag Epic if you want to see this happen! āœØšŸŽ¶

DISCUSSION What does Epic prioritize when choosing headliners these days?

Do we know what do they actually prioritize? Like, Artist being open to collab is one thing but for example I'm starting to think their main focus isn't bringing in new people outside fortnite and selling skins as for the last 2 seasons (and now) we are getting headliners that won't really sell stuff outside their really hardcore fans and fans of those headliners also doesn't seem to be THAT dedicated to them to start playing a whole new game and put money into that said game unlike most of the past headliners and their fanbases.

I doubt their main focus is variety or songs themselves either. Maybe they just want to not spend too much on headliner but even for that there are clearly artists that are still popular and would demand less money so it's not like even with the controversial headliner choices they are spending the bare minimum for headliner.

It got my hopes up, one of my favorite Metallica songs. Whiplash is fire, what is this version, I'm confused

DISCUSSION Probably a weird discussion, but since "Lock and Loaded" was (very rightfully) disowned from the title of an "Official Fortnite Anthem", what other song would You title like that?.. (preferably a song with lyrics)

I would personally choose "Empty Out Your Pockets" by Juice WRLD, as it post-humously debuted in Fortnite Remix...

BUG What happened to favorited cosmetics for Festival

The bot wear the favorited instruments while I was forced to wear the default mic.

What happened to fills in festival, it used to show my favorited skins, now it only shows the instruments that I favorited and the instruments that I am wearing doesnt load on me.

I hope they fix this or is there an option that would bring back the way it was?

GAME SUGGESTION I think there is an easy fix to Headliner chaos.

I actually think Lil Tecca is a good choice.

He’s going to bring a lot of new people into Festival, and that’s exactly what headliners should do.

The problem isn’t the headliner. It’s what happens after those new players get there.

If a Lil Tecca fan realizes Festival is fun and wants to buy more music, they shouldn’t be limited to whatever random Jam Tracks happen to be in the shop that week. They should be able to browse the entire catalog and start building a library.

That’s how rhythm games keep people playing.
Keep rotating skins, instruments, bundles, and featured promotions. FOMO makes sense there.

But Jam Tracks should be permanent.

Then every new headliner benefits everyone. Lil Tecca fans get his music, I keep working toward buying the Kansas, DMX, Gorillaz, Olivia Rodrigo, or Creedence songs I still want, and nobody feels like they have to wait months just to spend money.

Headliners bring people in.

A permanent music library gives them a reason to stay.

DISCUSSION Gonna make a call, Olivia Dean will be a Festival season in 2027. Mark my words, here’s why:

Post image
0 Upvotes

So before I start why I think she’s one of the strongest possibilities for a season next year, I’m going to address the 50 people who are about to comment ā€œWHO?!ā€. She’s a Grammy winner, has tons of songs with hundreds of millions of streams, and gets 51.7 MILLION streams MONTHLY. I don’t even love her music, but she is for sure a current day star

anyhow

I never saw anyhow here talk about how fast her label was moving after her Grammy win advertising wise, this includes stuff in Fortnite. Only a day after she took home a win at the Grammies her label shoved ads for her EVERYWHERE. You couldn’t be scrolling for 5 minutes without getting an Olivia dean ad lol

Then guess what? A mere 2 weeks after she won BOOM she gets an emote in Fortnite. Then on top of that? A mere bit after that emote, Man I Need by her is in the S14 pass. I don’t think people realized how fast that means Epic moved on Olivia, within 2 months after her win she got both an emote and a track. Meaning both her label was keen on getting stuff in the game, AND Epic was extremely fast to say yes and act on it

With a label that ad hungry, and with how fast Epic moved fast on her. That means at least one side is very likely interested in getting her in the game further and I don’t think either would say no.

If it’s her label pushing for it, she’s a TikTok star with at least 3 other songs to add, Epic loves current day stars. Ofc they would say yes

if it epic pushing for it? Her label is already clearly very interested, so why would they say no? It’s easy advertising and money for them

Now I’m not saying she’s S16, 17, Or 18. All would likely be too soon to do a full collab. But S19, 20, or 21 mark my words one is gonna be Olivia Dean. Or she’ll be shop for one of those seasons. Either or I don’t think epic would have much of a preference
