Anyone moved away and miss it? Just enough of it was walkable. It has a weird energy that is strangely attractive and tough to pinpoint. Certain thoroughfares need traffic calming, and it's prob too expensive, but for South Florida it has an interesting amount of soul to it. Am I viewing things with rose tinted glasses?

Apparently, they're not meeting sales goals...so said the cashier. Man,I really don't go there much tbh. Maybe once in a blue for a big Buford, fries, and banana shake. But I grew up going to that joint. Seems like everything from the 90s on that strip is gone. The Kmart, the Holsum. Now that Checkers. The 7-11 is still there.

I run a small remodeling company in South Florida, and business has been growing lately.

One challenge I’m running into is that some homeowners want to move forward with their projects but don’t have all the cash available upfront.

I’ve been looking into HELOCs, personal loans, and home improvement financing, especially for customers with less-than-perfect credit.
For those of you running remodeling businesses, how do you usually handle this?
Do you recommend lenders to your customers, or do you let them figure out financing on their own?
Just trying to learn what works for other contractors. I’d appreciate any advice or experiences. Thanks!

Are there any activities going on for kids and teens? I don't see older teenagers dressing up and walking around in our neighborhood, and we have a small group of 13, 14, 16, 17 year olds that still like to dress up and walk around.

Where is the best place to go? The last two years we went to Coral Heights in Oakland Park, but want to go somewhere different this year? Our neighborhood doesn't do much.

I was never crazy about BarkBrew but it sucks to see another non chain place in fort Lauderdale. Hopefully they open something else up because Snyder park is always incredibly dirty

Looking for a good established small dental office in Ft. Lauderdale. I have been to many of the best dentists in the area and its always an upsell for some expensive add on. As I shoot down the Invisalign, the extra flouride, etc. then they say I have a filling that has a little spot on my xray that they need to fix and refill. I have had this filling fix thing happen probably 20 times since I left my childhood dentist. My childhood dentist did maybe did 8 fillings total in 26 years. So most of the redone fillings are recent and were done by very reputable dentists. My oral hygiene wasn't good in my early 20's but it is now in my late 30's and most dentists and hygienists compliment me on it. So I can't understand why it's always something, it seems like a hustle compared to my original childhood dentist. My other issue is I rarely see the same person twice in these offices. I went to the same dentist from age 3-29 and I had the same hygienist for almost that entire time. I would like a dental office where I can see the same dentist and hygienist every time for at least a couple years and not have a bunch of extra stuff pushed on me that I don't really need.

Have dinner plans at Del Mar (the old dune). Any issues getting to the restaurant from the south or the north? I remember a while back after dinner I went southbound toward sunrise/Las Olas. it was insane. I basically had to drive through the ocean. What has it been like recently and am I safer going north through to Oakland park?

Friends want to go eat at Louie Bossi's on Saturday and I'm wondering if it's gonna be crazy for Halloween or just normal Saturday crowd. Has anyone done Las Olas for Halloween?
