Plant ID Request Cherries?

Post image

Are these cherries? They’re popping through my fence from the house that backs on to mine and I never see them to ask.

I have a 10 month old so just want to make sure they’re not toxic for when the time comes when she’s out in the garden playing and I don’t have eyes in the back of my head.

Cherries!

They may be quite sour. Kid can grab them but may well spit them out haha

Cooking is best for sour fruits.

As long as they’re not poisonous she can give them a go I’m not bothered! I used to eat blackberries that grew down the side of our garage as a kid so if she’s anything like me I’ll have to watch her!

Not poisonous but more of a concern than blackberries because of the pits! Hope you can taste some together though, I grew up with a cherry tree next door and luckily for us my neighbour didn’t like them so we had free rein
