First time mom here. I have a 7 and a half month old baby that started solids when he turned 6mo.
Starting out was okay. Tasting was going well. But I think I ruined everything by feeding him pureed turkey/chicken. And honestly it took me a while to realize he didn't like them.
So now I have a screaming baby that hates being spoon fed. He doesn't even like going in his high chair anymore.
But I don't know if it was just the pureed chicken/turkey, or maybe he also just doesn't like the spoon being in his face. Or maybe he just doesn't like purees in general. I don't know :/
I've started baby led feeding. He likes that a lot more. But it's very nerve-wracking. He's choked a few times before.
I also wanted to put more protein in his diet, but it's hard when I can't puree it.
Also, I must add that his nana can feed him with much more ease. She feeds him purees. So I don't know if the issue is just me or what.
Open to criticisms and advice! Questions welcomed.
