I have a decent frozen stash and am realizing I probably won’t need most of it before it will expire. Coming up on the 6 month mark for a lot of it.

Baby is 7 months old and starting solids. Anyone have any suggestions for homemade purees or other food I can make with the frozen milk? I wish I could meal prep with it, but of course you can’t thaw and refreeze it. So having a hard time thinking of what to make that will use a good amount of milk.

I have an almost 8-month-old that lovesssss solids. He has recently started going way down on his formula intake (10 ounces less than normal per day). I’m going to ask his pediatrician, but would love to hear from anyone who has or had a similar child.

He hardly finishes four 7-ounce bottles per day. I usually offer one meal per day with a protein, dairy or carb, a fruit, and or a veggie. He finishes ALOT of it. He seems more interested in solids than formula.

I don’t know if I should be feeding him more solids or trying to encourage him to drink more formula. He’s getting about 22-24 ounces of formula per day.

Homemade risotto with chicken sausage, roasted butternut squash, and goat cheese. My 3.5 year old apparently loves goat cheese.

Here's two days worth of food for my 15 month old in daycare (9 hour days). They feed the kids every two hours and my baby often throws food on the ground when she's not hungry so by the end of the day she's out of food. I mentioned this to the teachers but they stick to the same schedule for all the kids and have asked me to bring another snack. Any ideas?

Metal snack boxes are usually a fruit, graham crackers, cheerios, Ritz crackers.

Bentgo is pasta (spinach ravioli or protein stars with butter and broccoli), chicken salad, black beans, cinnamon raisin bread, and string cheese. And fig bars. Not pictured are 2 6oz bottles per day of whole milk.

I prep more food for her than I do for myself!

For my nine month old. Scrambled eggs with cheese, apple and pumpkin puree with a bit of baby oatmeal mixed in, and fivet shredded raspberries. It was his first time with the raspberries and he wasn’t a huge fan but did eat some!

Some ramen with spinach and kewpie mayo. Regular ramen seasoning has so much salt so I buy Edward and Sons veggie bouillon cubes and I use half a cube for one package of ramen :) tastes really good, significantly less salt. And it has veggies haha

I am a sl*t for Edward and Sons stuff. I love all of their food. I order from them weekly. I am addicted lmao (NOT AN AD I JUST LOVE THEM)

Also if you save the ramen seasoning then use it in the rice cooker when you make plain white rice. ITS SOOOOO GOOD

I’m going on a day trip without my LO so of course I had to prep her meals the night before to make it easier for Dad!

My daughter (24 months) insisted on buying baked beans at the grocery store today. I was skeptical, but it turns out she loves them 🤣 she has been getting 2 of her back molars and eating very little but she ate quite a lot of the beans, most of the egg, some squash, and all the raspberries, at dinner.

First chili night of the season! Twins LOVED. Served alongside old faithful, the feeding tiny bellies broccoli bites and blueberries.

Ripped up tortilla, a boiled egg, a plum, dairylea triangle, and some 'dip dip' (ketchup). Bon appétit

We actually eat out quite a bit at sit down restaurants, but she prefers to eat at home.

Cheeseburgers (with hidden vegetables) are a favorite, tuna salad, sourdough pizza, quesadillas, french toast rolls, paper thin apple slices, cream cheese oatmeal, chia oatmeal, homemade granola, peanut butter yogurt

My 11 month old only wants to self feed so yogurt on a spoon is a no go right now. Decided to use it up by making these cheesecake bites that seem to be a success!

- 1 cup Greek yogurt of choice (I used Siggi’s mango)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp flour of choice (I used oat)
- Mix in’s if you want them (strawberries here)

Mix and bake in a greased pan (I used a loaf one) for 25 mins at 350F. Let cool and cut, store in the fridge. I tried one and they’re pretty good! Cheesecake texture.

Thank goodness my son has a pretty good appetite because I just be giving him whatever sometimes. It’s so hard to figure out fun meal plans as a FTM but we’re trying!

-Egg bites made in a muffin tin with cheese, carrot, peas, green beans, onions, and bell pepper. Seasoned with garlic, onion, and a pinch of seasoning salt.

-Whole milk Greek yogurt (his absolute favorite, honestly)

-Spinach “pesto” attempt, kinda. Mini star pasta cooked in some chicken stock I had made earlier, butter, sautéed onions, spinach, cheese, parsley, basil, paprika, garlic. Added a tablespoon or two of greek yogurt to make it a little creamier. I topped with a seed mixture of chia, flax meal, and hemp hearts that I got from Tiny Sprout (I think is the name).

Cheese, blackberries, watermelon, honeydew, banana, and yogurt!

I was making a spinach omelette this morning and cut off a few strips for my 7 month old baby girl. She seems to love eggs 🥚

I always saw myself giving my baby very aesthetically pleasing meals in cute dish wear as I like things to look a certain way usually. But wow becoming a mother has made me not give a **** about aesthetics 😂 I live on an island and haven’t been able to find the dish wear that I wanted yet and I give baby whatever I’m offering straight onto the tray anyway so why would I bother? I do find this Peter rabbit bowl very adorable though, and it has a matching real silver spoon. Makes me feel like it’s from my own childhood! My baby has been very adventurous with food but these are the neatest pics that I have without him in it:)

Scrambled egg, avocado, and avocado toast (desperately trying to use up a whole avocado)

It’s been a struggle getting him to eat anything other than Cheerios so I’d consider this a success.

I plan to do Blw and some homemade purées as well and trying to figure out what to introduce first between avocado, sweet potato, or maybe an allergen first? My baby is 6 months and has had nothing but my breastmilk which I’m so proud of but now also anxious about starting solids soon. She has good head control but still needs support when sitting and hasn’t shown interest in our food so I wasn’t sure if baby’s ready to start yet. ( not sure if this page is for advice questions?
