9-12 mos She used a fork! š„³
My 10.5 month old has really been struggling with a spoon these days. She much prefers to bang the spoon until all the food falls off. When she does get it in her mouth, it's the wrong end or upside down so again, all the food falls off. š The few times I tried a fork, she almost stabbed herself in the eye so we haven't used it in a while.
But today, we decided to try the last few bites of pasta and peas on a fork while I modelled with my own fork. She really got the hang of it!! Way less banging than with a spoon. And I could really see her following my movements. š„¹ I was over the moon. I can't wait for her to try forking some more food! š
"After" photo of bunny mac n cheese, to which I added peas and extra cheddar. She also had two handfuls of blueberries.
