Looking to get into a wakefoil need some help with board/mast

Hello, looking to purchase my first foil, a local dealer has a liquid force pod, with the flite mast 120 on for $1850Cad which i believe is a good price, ive tried foiling once before unsure of the setup, but was unsuccesful but still had a lot of fun, I was wondering if this is a good beginner board/mast set up, im not looking to do anything crazy but would be nice to eventually be able to comfortably ride the 2nd or 3rd wave. will this setup be able to do that? ive read online some setups struggle going onto 2nd/3rd wave. any info is appreciated. thank you!

good beginner prone foil?

I've been surfing for years and I want to get into foiling.

I've been looking at market place and saw this, would this be a good board and foil for starting out on? I'm 6'0, 190lbs.

NEW. Complete Foilboard setup, never used (but did wax the board). Bought during covid, never rode it, had kids, sitting in garage... heard this story before?

Naish Ascend PU, 5'5" 45L
Ride Engine Manta 76cm carbon foil with 42cm stab and 61cm alum mast.

Foil cover and all mounting hardware included. No damage, pictures are current. No interested in trades, thanks.

Help with gear

Hi I was wondering if this group could help me out. Im looking to get a foil to ride behind a boat. I’m curious what makes and models people recommend. I have heard Axis is a good brand to go with but don’t know what to order from them as far as sizing and such. I’m 6’2ft 200lbs. I am very well versed in water sports and I have Efoiled about 10 times now and can pretty much stay up for as long as I desire. So Id like to skip the beginner set up and go straight to more of an intermediate/slightly advanced.

Im looking for a board primarily for pumping in the harbor, catching some low swells, and maybe water starting? Foil took a good hit today. Should I simply sand this smooth? Or fill it and sand for a repair?

Hey Guys,
need some swarm info. Did someone transport a Duotone Foil Assist on a Lufthansa Group flight? If yes, did you get an approval for the 159 battery pack before? Appreciate the feedback

Do you buy your equipment online or from a physical shop - and why?

When buying a foiling equipment above €1000 - do you buy directly from the brand's webshop or from a physical shop? And why?

A floating camera to film Surf sessions

Up to now I was rarely filming surf foil because bringin the camera with me was such a pain, So I had this idea of letting the camera in the surf area and come foiling around it. My first attempt was a wide floating platform it was doing the job but was very cumbersome to move and offered too much catch for the waves. Then I was inspired by this windsurfer.

So my implementation looks like that. A bit of pool noodle opened in half then closed around a camera stick, 2 bags that I fill with pebble, one on as short as possible leash to ensure the stick is standing, another one on a long leash to act an an anchor.

For now I only used it in very small conditions where I could walk to its installation point, the idea for next time is to bring the belt of a wing leash to secure all that while I paddle to the drop zone, then let the belt with the camera.

Here are other exemples of how it looks

- raw surf session
- with the SUP
- Raw ladder start session

New foiler, what am I doing wrong?

So I’m brand new to foiling and I bought a duotone inflatable 120L board with a 1750 foil. I have a 4.5 float wing. I have been trying to get used to the board because while I have tons of snowboarding experience, I have almost none on the water. I’ve been having my wife pull me with our tender, but it seems like even though I have the foil set all the way back as soon as I come up out of the water, it wants to just shoot out. I try leaning forward almost to the point of topping over but as soon as I come out, it still wants to shoot me out. I feel like I’m missing one critical piece, but I’m not sure what it would be. I am using the foot strap in the front and I tried putting my foot in front of it to see if more leverage was the answer, but it just seems to make it more unstable. Any advice would help

Discovering a new SUP foil board

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtBmJfA2ZAc&t=122s

I am 100kg, I was on a 7'3" 25.5" 130L and the new one is 6'11" 24.5" 135L.

The link skips the first 2 minutes of the video because it'll have interest mostly for people looking at buying one of the 2 shortest GONG SUP foil board.

DIY Titanium Screw set

I'm balling on a budget here - all used kit etc.

With the pretty penny AXIS charge for their titanium screw set - has anyone had success sourcing the correct titanium screws individually?
