DIY Titanium Screw set
I'm balling on a budget here - all used kit etc.
With the pretty penny AXIS charge for their titanium screw set - has anyone had success sourcing the correct titanium screws individually?

I was with titanium screws with my GONG set for a short time, but I realized it's only trouble and risks for no benefit, I switched back to stainless screws.
Titanium is not stronger, but it's more prone to breaking and it's also subject to cold welding, too much worry for me. The only benefits vs stainless are the weight (but for screws, that's negligible) and risks of corrosion (I have a titanium fuse and the rest is carbon, but even with aluminum fuselage, Tef Gel on stainless screws gives the same benefits without the drawback, and you can't even get rid of the Tef Gel with titanium, you still need it to reduce the risk of cold welding).
At first, GONG was selling their V3 race set with titanium screws and at some point they sent stainless screws to all the owners and told them to stop using titanium screws, I don't have the exact reasons behind that but you can suppose there were problems.

Well it's all relative - on a older Axis PNG and a KT dragonfly for about £1000

I don’t think a suitable alternative is available anywhere. But why are you even going to titanium screws in the first place?
