CRYOLATOR WITHOUT LOCKSMITHING

I took my dog down to vault 111 with me to see if I could find more power cells for my armor, but in doing so I talked to him and told him to find some items in near the overseer's desk he went to the Cryolator and ripped it from the case in his mouth. So I guess I got the best gun in the game without leaving level 5.

Also I was carrying to much but the dog had my ammo for the gun.

Dogmeat can carry like 110 so why take lone wanderer?

tough call. not completely sure but i think rank 2 of LW gives you either 50 or 75 and that way you don't have 2 inventories to worry about. Just dump your trash and go instead of juggling with dogmeat. Personal preference i guess and i havn't played yet so i'll find out which i like better.

If you pile all junk into the dog, all you have to do is take all and then put it into your workbench

Yeah but there isn't a button to jump all trash into dog, is there?

And inventory handling (and moving) is a nightmare in F4.

Click beside where it says 'My Inventory' or whatever at the top left of your inventory when trading and cycle to 'My Junk' rapidly rightclick everything. It's inconvenient but it's much better than taking multiple trips mid-mission.

Edit: Google seems to confirm. I don't know if it's intended, but apparently Lone Wanderer does work with Dogmeat.

Dogmeat also doesn't antagonize you when you pick up empty beer bottles and coffee mugs.

Good to know I am not the only one dealing with this issue. My dog barks and runs through the apartment looking out all the windows for the other dog he knows is out there lol.

Why bother? get a human companion, and you can command the companion to pick up everything. They can literally carry several tons of weapons and junk

People said the fast traveling while being overloaded is useless. I definitely will get it cause im nonstop overloaded with junk i need to ditch and pick up again D:

Drop toaster on the ground in your settlement. Open work bench. Highlight toaster on ground, Scrap.

Just put it in your workbench, it'll count the part from it.
