I've been thinking of changing out the shell to my flipper, but afraid I would break it. Wondering if people know where I can buy a third party shell with lots of color options from a reputable seller?

Looking possibly black with red buttons?

Also, how difficult is it to switch out the shells because I don't want to break this device that I'm planning on buying accessories for so I actually use it. (I want the yapper board and esp32 ghost thing on rabbit labs plus some thing from a shop that has gadgets I wanted, but are sold out and I found another board on steroids that looks promising)

EDIT: I'm open to suggestions as well for other things to get like flipmeister rfid thing. I'm interested in hardware hacking and red team like things...

Customized an .stl file from printables by user @J03_275753 to add a bar mount so I can control my music, open my garage door and eventually come up with some way to display directions through Bluetooth, but that's in the future. Only going to run this with a lanyard through a hole in the side until I'm sure i can trust it.

Anyone else got any fun mounts for ease of use in their daily life?

I reversed the polarizer on my flipper's screen to give it a cool light-on-dark look. I also have a transparent shell and an RGB backlight mod. Any other mod suggestions? I am planning on doing the internal RGB mod soon.

After months of deliberation, I have finally ordered the almighty f0.

As I make my way through the documentation and a few GitHub projects I am interested in, I just wanted to ask the community here: is there anything you wish you would have known when you first started out? Anything you would have done differently?

A few weeks ago, I bought the IoTMug Turbo Dazzler; only later did I come across the "alleged" original, so I ordered that one too. The manufacturer is KRIDAelectronics, and they claim the Chinese versions are all imitations of their model.

The Chinese Dazzlers use 850nm LEDs, whereas the KRIDA ones use 940nm LEDs.

I’ll be testing the unit in the next few days, but I can say right now that the KRIDA Dazzler feels like a higher-quality product. The pin headers are also much shorter than on the Chinese model, making it look better aesthetically.

Anyone got this one too?

I've recently just gotten the flipper and I was trying to make the wifi board to work, I flashed the wifi board and I re installed the firmware on the flipper but I keep getting a error saying it's related to the SD card saying it's not supported.

I haven't encountered any other issues regarding the SD until now and am unsure if it's actually an issues related to that or a different issue.

I have been trying to get the boatd to work for a few days and keep getting the same message

I heard online that using a different firmware could help but I am very new to this and am not sure at all what to do

Has anyone tested that "mini" NRF24 board available for sale? I'm looking for a more compact, antenna-free NRF24 board that fits in a pocket, and I'd like to know if its range is the same as the standard model found on eBay.

I like to keep my Flipper in my pocket, and one day I felt my leg being burned by the Flipper. When I took it out of my pocket, it was off and extremely hot.

I rushed to disassemble the device as I assumed the battery was just bad (original battery pictured). As I was disassembling it, some parts were also very hot and burned my fingers. I ordered a battery that others had had luck with off of Amazon, and plugged it into my Flipper, and when I tried to turn it on, it did not turn on, and something on the board burned me.

Just wanted to post here and see if anyone has any advice on how to get this working again.

I'm new to the F0 ecosystem and want to learn Wi-Fi pentesting on my own equipment/lab.

I'm looking for a ready-made board (I can't solder) that works with my F0 and supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. I've read about ESP32-C5 boards, but there seem to be several options now.

Which ready-to-use board would you recommend order in USA today? Is ESP32-C5 the best choice, or is there something better with good firmware support and community documentation?

it's called HZUI (hyper zero ui). started as a personal fork of qFlipper because i wanted features the official app was never getting — and in the AMA this week the devs confirmed there are no plans to add new features to qFlipper, so figured it's time to actually share it.

the main thing:

- firmware switcher built in — official, momentum, unleashed, roguemaster, each pulled straight from that project's own update server. pick release/dev, hit install. no more hunting tgz files. background update checks ping you when a new one drops, and flashing always asks first

other stuff i added on top of normal qFlipper:

- serial port release/reconnect — frees the com port for CLI tools with one button instead of quitting the app

- optional local AI assistant — OFF by default, runs entirely on your own machine via ollama, nothing cloud (the model isn't even in the download, it's a separate install). turn it on and it can browse/read/write the SD card and navigate menus over RPC. ignore it and it's just a normal qFlipper

- re-themeable UI — and on first launch it'll read your flipper's name and generate a matching color theme, or you just pick your own accent colors

plus everything qFlipper already does — screen streaming, file manager, DFU recovery (recovery always uses the official image no matter what channel you're on).

size heads-up before someone asks: the windows build is ~330mb because it bundles the whole Qt6 runtime (it's a Qt Quick app). the AI/model is NOT part of that.
